why doesn't denver bring him in he has played 3-4 n 4-3....and we can get a veteran discount and he is good against the run and pass rush........

Starks and Fairley are both guys I think Demver might look at as the FA frenzy settles. Elway always likes to bargain shop.

Denver post stated Denver had one spot open on the DL and they were thinkng about resigning Unrein.

About $8.3M. That's already accounting for draft picks. Cutting Colquitt, Ramirez, Clark, Caldwell, and Carter, would give us about $18M in remaining cap space.

Starks and Walker are very similar players. Starks is better, but will be more expensive. Since we signed Walker, I doubt we go in that direction.

If we've only got *one* spot left for a D-lineman, I'd venture to guess it would be a relatively high draft selection to develop. We need to have a plan in place in case we lose Wolfe or Jackson, or both, next offseason. Securing a veteran for a couple of years was important. We did that. Now, we need to secure developing youth just in case.
