![]() Not always effectively, but point being RB was addressed with high round draft picks. Beanie Wells (1st rounder in 09), Ryan Willians (2nd rounder in 2010). Look at the Pittsburgh backs when he was OC they ran quite a bit and quite successfully (Willie Parker had like 1400 or 1500 yards in a season and a 1200 yard season), Duce Staley and Bettis split carries one season. |

The Pats have been running pretty effectively in these playoffs. Don't want the 49ers enough to comment but I'd bet they do too.

Whoever it will be, it's the easiest OC job in the NFL ... just sit back, hold the clipboard well and agree with PMFM!

I'd love to see a little more creative play design in the red zone. I saw flashes of that this year but really think Whisenhunt could do some things. He's likely an upgrade over McCoy.

That's why we need a coach that might add something. Mccoy I don't think hurt us, but her didn't really add much. I would like to see someone who can make a positive contribution.

Or call a run on 3rd and 7 effective negating the PMFM effect and taking the game out of the best player's hands. That's the other thing our OC can do.

Wisenhunt or Shurmur are the two guys i wanted badly for the OC if McCoy left.
i think Wisenhunt would be a great fit for us, he'll bring that physical running game meshed with Manning. |

IDK, after our option of QB draws in 2011, 2012's red zone calls were a total upgrade.

Sounds like it's Whisenhunt or Gase. We should know soon.

These days for running inside the tackles... Ronnie stated to get in the groove as the 4th quarter progressed but we easily missed out on one if not two scores and longer drives in which we didn't score with Moreno and Hillman mixing it up with Moreno in there on passing third downs. |

WTF! Mike McCoy went to San Diego! What is with the AFC West trying to take all our coaches??
And yes I am just know hearing about this. After the playoff lose, I had to stay away from all things football. Need some time to heal. |
