While we are all mighty PISSED off and broken hearted this might be a tad over the top.

That said...DUDE...PLAY FOR THE $#%$ing win...this silly notion of just running for a yard...they call time out. Run up the middle for another yard..timeout. Then run up the middle for the yard...run the clock for another 45 seconds and PUNT...GIVING THEM THE BALL BACK WITHOUT EVEN TRYING FOR A FIRST DOWN That is tooooooo conservative (and stupid). Today it cost us huge. That..is on Fox and he needs to own that. Taking a knee with 30 seconds in the game without giving your hall of fame QB a chance..or pass interference call etc... that too is on him I think.

It's similar to marty situation in SD..Not a good idea to fire a coach that won 13 games.
We should try to win games..and not play scared.
One of the worst loses..Will take time to forget this loss.

Unfortunately John Fox will never learn from his mistakes. You can't change ideologies. A person who believes low taxes is best for the economy will always believe low taxes is best for the economy. A person who believes more guns means a safer society will always believe more guns means a safer society. A person who is pro choice will always be pro choice.

The sooner John Elway realizes this, the better. Cut John Fox, reload with a more competent coach, and make another run. Next year.

Agreed. A person who believes that confiscating guns from law abiding citizens is a good thing (all the while ignoring clowns like Michael Moore who have their own fully-armed security guards) will always think that confiscating guns from law abiding citizens is the right thing to do.

And a clown who thinks that government is the solution to all of our problems will always support any program that grows the government and encourages Federal authorities to tell us what kind of light bulbs to buy, how efficient our furnaces need to be, and how many gallons of water our toilets can flush.

And a person who thinks that abortion is not about "choice" but about a medical procedure called an abortion will always believe that choice has nothing to do with a medical procedure that has become as commonplace as a haircut.

So, yeah: I get what you're saying!

I don't really have a major issue with the decision to run on 3rd and 7. I was hoping they'd go play action and pass on 2nd down but I can appreciate the logic behind the decision.

Ravens got the ball back with 69 seconds left and 80 yards to go, no timeouts. 19 times out of 20 you win the game there, but you can't account for a play like Moore made (or didn't make)

The consecutive runs up the gut on 2nd and 1 were horrendous though. We did that twice in overtime and I ****ing hate it. 2nd and short is a great down to make something happen, yet we waste it trying to pick up a couple of yards and a fresh set of downs.

Though I really don't think Fox has anything to do with those calls, it's McCoy and Manning.

For those complaining about the play calling, Manning should be your target, not Fox.

In the post-game interview, Manning said he made the call on the third-and-7.

There is zero chance we ever win a Super Bowl with this joker. They aren't going to fire him though. We are going to have to suffer through many years of bitter disappointment before this hyper-conservative dip**** is gone.

At least Tebow *tried* to win the damn games he played in. Not his fault if Fox kept him chained to the pocket and he had to wait for McCoy to "draw up" a pass to DT before Overtime last year.

Tebow always gave 110% all the time and no one can question his competitiveness or his desire to win the damn game. Compare this with Fox's philosophy of not losing the game.

I'll take Tebow's mindset over Fox's any day of the week.

I'm not suggesting that Tebow should be the QB, or even that he is an NFL-caliber QB. I'm simply saying that Tebow plays to WIN the game, while Fox plays NOT TO LOSE the game.

It's a huge freakin' difference, and as long as Fox is our head coach, Denver will NEVER good deep in the playoffs.

coach fox wasnt the problem today. it was bailey and manning. our two best players played like crap. before moore f-up on that play, bailey let two long bombs go for TDs and manning gave the ravens three free balls.

With the exception of Holliday, it was pretty much a total team meltdown.

The D Line didn't show up, our safeties sucked, and so did our corners. Our kicker stunk up the joint. Our QB did *not* play like a HOF-bound player, and our two WR's had below average games. The TE's looked pretty good. Not sure why Manning and/or Fox didn't want to throw to them on 3rd and 7

And all 3 coaches screwed the pooch.

I thought the receivers and tight-ends where outstanding. How in the world did they "stink up the joint"? They made some amazing catches.

Manning had a terrible day. The guy can't play in the cold. He just can't do it. The Tebowesque pass in Thomas's general direction towards the end of the first half was a huge play. The receivers bailed him out over and over again on outs (Stokely's catch in overtime springs to mind). He was bad. Flacco was, by far, the better QB today...even if it was nothing more than sending balls deep and hoping for the best.

Secondary was terrible. Moore needs to never play another down. This draft is about safety. Draft 5 of them. Moore was responsible for two touchdowns today.

Offensive line was bad.

But most glaring:

The Broncos got the second best defensive player of the 2011 draft, and it's not even close. Von Miller can't hold JJ Watt's jockstrap and that was evident today. Untimely penalties and a complete inability to even get near the QB.

I dont' think the Manning hate is valid. While yes those plays ended up in turnovers two of them were direct BS calls/noncalls by the refs. How the **** is it Mannings fault that Decker gets mugged tips the ball up and they return it for a TD. And while yes it's his fault he lost the grip on the ball his arm was clearly moving forward and should have been called an incomplete pass. Just 2 of the many blown bs calls by the refs but what can you do.
