No one can throw a ball to the LOS like Brady can. I said years ago the dude will never win another SB, he came close twice and wins alot of games but it might serve him and belly to move on to something new.

I get tired watching their dink and dunk quick break game. When they get behind it is hard to dink and dunk it and come back.

I am glad we have 2 physical teams in the SB. I hope we get more physical on D and in the run game.

I think Wes Welker might be done in New England.

Anybody else notice that the dropped pass of his was eerily similar to his drop last year in the SB?

Not sure if this is the beginning of the end or not. If Gronk weren't out it'd be easier to write them off.

I agree, I was thinking the same thing, he dropped at least 2 passes for 1st down and got caught from behind after beating his man in the open field, Graham closed fast after getting beat and made the tackle.

Welker is a guy who can rack up the YAC if he gets the ball near or at the LOS but he doesn't seem to be as effective down field. I know him and Belly went at it early this year. I doubt after this he sticks around.

Anyone notice Lloyd wasn't impressive either? No CiDtL today.

Pats need to get big fast young WR's like the rest of the league.

Plus Belly has drafted D the last 2 years and he is not hitting as frequently on talent like he used to. They have no pass rush and they are weak in the middle field like we are. They also got burned in the seams also.

I will enjoy watching them crumble.

I'd love it if Welker became a Bronco...but he is going to want a nice chunk of money, which might cut into the team's ability to resign Decker and Thomas later.

We can keep Stokely for less if he wants to keep playing and he knows Manning.

If Manning has a thing for white slot receivers (and who doesnt?) Amendola might be a better long term fit than Welker or Stokely.

I don't see Amendola hitting the open market. If he does he will command a large contract. The dude is a stud. I could see the Pat's make a move for him. I just don't think we could afford him.

True. But if he does become a FA I hope we go after him. Our window for a title is the next two years. If the team wants to win now (and clearly signing Manning last offseason is an indicator for that) then the consideration of the team's cap past the next two years might not factor in to the thought process.

I think New England might draft Tavon Austin or DeAndre Hopkins to replace Wes Welker. Sure wouldn't surprise me.

But they need a better DL and another pass rusher.

One thing for sure, Joe Flacco is a much tougher qb than Brady is. Flacco will stand tough in the pocket just as well as most other qb's. He has as strong an arm as any qb in the league, and his accuracy is very good. Always been underrated. Most people scoff at the notion of him being an elite NFL qb. He don't have the hardware that the real elite NFL qb's have. But he is probably the best qb in the NFL without a Super Bowl ring, but that is likely to change in two weeks.
