Yeah no ****. Unless the broncos or pats beat themselves then that's what will happen. Doesn't take an expert to figure that out. Now let them predict the NFC. Isn't quite as clear in that conference.

Picking the favorite doesn't take a great amount of courage or smarts. I'm still gonna pray like hell for the Texans, though.

In other news most NFL experts can't pick games better than toddlers.

Gracias, I thought it would post as a link. My bad.

Experts also predicted GB and Seattle to advance in the NFC. Note only one picked Balt. to win, none picked Houston.

GB over SF being predicted surprises me. Going into Seattle and getting walloped shouldn't change the opinion of SF that much. GB couldn't stop Minnesota two weeks ago to get the bye but they can go on the road and knock off SF? I just don't get it.

I think SF is going to beat the Packers up. I would love for Dennver to play SF, Seattle or GB in the SB. They will own those teams.

I went 4 for 4 last week.

This week it's Den, NE, and Atlanta. Too close to call for GB/SF game.

I don't get why people are predicting the Packers to beat the 49ers at home. The 49ers are the better team.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the reason I'm having a hard time picking that game is that while I do think the 49ers have a superior D, running game and homefield, I think Kaepernick is vastly outclassed by Rodgers, in both experience and talent, and the importance of QB play, which is always critical, gets magnified in playoff games.

If I was forced to pick, I'd go with the 49ers, but I wouldn't feel good about it.

Broncos are the biggest favorite per Brian Burke's Advanced NFL Stats:

Quote:
Pwin GAME Pwin
0.22 Baltimore at Denver 0.78
0.34 Green Bay at San Francisco 0.66
0.51 Seattle at Atlanta 0.49
0.42 Houston at New England 0.58

Kind of like how in baseball post season play better pitching owns everything regardless of how the teams match up otherwise. In NFL post season, the team with the better quarterback will generally get the nod as a favorite. I agree, San Fran is a better team. But Aaron Rogers is a better quarterback. If the teams are close enough, I tend to bet on the better quarterback.

GB will unleash the fury of being robbed by the replacements in their initial match-up.

Denver - Packers in a rematch of Superbowl 32... all the way down to the aging HOF QB facing off against the young MVP.
