Adopt-a-Bronco:
Eric Decker
Default McGahee

from rotoworld...

Willis McGahee (knee, injured reserve/designated for return) conceded
Monday that he couldn't play in a game if one were tomorrow.

"If we played a game tomorrow, no I couldn't go," said McGahee, who is eligible to play if the Broncos make the AFC Championship Game. McGahee tore his MCL and suffered a crack in his leg on November 18. He can resume practicing on Tuesday, but it's beginning to sound like a long shot that McGahee will make any meaningful impact before the Super Bowl, at the soonest.

Well at least we have a good reason to do that now.

No, I think we have a great problem if both are available. Coach is a hot head with fumbles outside of McGahee. I don't think we should even consider him this game but I would like that option. He is very important to us but then again, we didn't lose a beat with Moreno in there.

Even if his knee is ready, he won't be in "football shape". An uninjured Brandon Browner returned to the starting lineup for the Seahawks after a 4-game suspension, and he looked like crap for a large chunk of the game missing tackles and making arm tackles and getting fooled by WR's. Good thing for him it didn't cost the Hawks.

Knowshon is going just fine; if Hillman could just learn to block better we'd be golden.

I don't understand why people don't seem to care. Even if Moreno was tearing it up, the one position on the field you want to have depth at is RB. And this just in: Knoshown has been bad the last two weeks. Not "serviceable," or whatever other euphemism you might toss around--just bad.

Moreno is better than expected but he isn't as good as McGahee. McGahee is quicker, stronger, probably faster and a better pass protector.

Not too broken up about it. McGahee's fumbles were really growing tiresome. At least Knowshon's been taking care of the ball and I believe that will help this team win more than the extra few yards McGahee might get.

Knowshon's been great, but he can't touch McGahee in short yardage and goalline.

McGahee is a tough ass runner...............period.

Moreno has improved but Willis is still better.

I would love to have a healthy Willis this week............

don't you know the guy would love to punish his old team.

Pretty hard to pick up that 250 pound blitzing LB'er or 290 pound DE when you're only 190 soaking wet. It's not Hillmans technique (although that could improve some) that is his biggest problem. He's just not a big man who can pick up those free rushing big guys. I've seen him in the correct position to block several times, he just gets run over.

As the defense rolls backward to try to stop Manning... the solution is:

Jacob Hester

Huh? His numbers for the last two weeks would equate to about 1500 combined rushing and receiving yards, 8 TDs and 0 fumbles. And that doesn't even take into account the fact that he sat out half of the KC game because they didn't need him and wanted to rest him up for the playoffs.

They need McGahee back badly. He gives them an entirely different dimension to the offense. He gets the tough yards way better than Moreno.

He also has had serious fumbling problems. I like McGahee as a runner better, but his fumbling had become a serious problem. I prefer to roll with Moreno who has been protecting the ball very well.

But then again his fumbles and dropped passes were crippling and killed us early in the season...if he's not over that then the new and improved Moreno would be the better choice
