#Broncos brought back WR Gerell Robinson, signing him to a future contract. Was on Cardinals' practice squad this year.

ok i know i shouldn't geek out for this. but... HELL YES! i love it.
was not happy about us letting him go as i think he has a lot of talent and could definitely develop well under Manning.

doesn't mean i wouldn't take Williams or Allen if they fell to #32.

the potential of getting Matt Willis off the WR depth chart is appealing.
good ST guy who should only play ST.

Willis and Stokley are FAs, so Caldwell is the only reserve under contract. Who's on the PS now - Orton?

He is really slow and not that quick or nimble. Possession receiver with limited upside.

he's still 6-4 222 lbs and has a 35 1/2" vertical leap. i'll take that as a developmental WR.

He can't be any worse than Willis or Caldwell! Glad he's back...that height can't be coached either.

Yeah, if he can catch and if he runs good routes he could have a great career just ask Ed McCaffery.

we need a dangerous slot guy who can house it and a possession guy to help relieve pressure off of DT and Decker.
Stokely is a very good slot but we need someone to groom behind him with more speed.
Robinson if developed takes care of the possession WR role.

I agree, If I was Elway that would be my priority in the draft. First, second or third round find a very fast, quick, tough WR available.

I definitely echo the "better than Willis" sentiment.

I thought Robinson looked good in the preseason. If he was on the Cardinals practice squad...then he was able to watch Larry Fitz work....great learning experience for him!

Great to have him back!
