Default Broncos should of had 8 Pro Bowlers instead of just 5.

Unbelievable. Huge Snubs.

How did Cromartie make it over Harris..
Why did Robert Mathis & Tamba Hali make it 8 and 9 sacks as a pass rushing OLB is not that special this should be Woodyards spot.
Demaryius Thomas as many TDs as Reggie Wayne & Andre Johnson combined together and more yardage than Welker. Higher YPC avg than all.

Lets start with Chris Harris, he should have made it over Cromartie clearly

Antonio Cromartie has 33 tackles | 3 INTs | 0 sacks | 1 TD

Johnathan Joseph has 57 tackles | 2 INTs | 0 sacks | 1 TD

Champ Bailey has 63 tackles | 2 INTs | 0 sacks | 0 TD

Chris Harris has 59 tackles | 3 INTs | 2.5 sacks | 2 TD

__________________________________________________ _________

Next up Welsey Woodyard (he has better stats than 2 of the 3 OLBs that got in)

Von Miller has 65 tackles | 1 INT | 17.5 sacks | 1 TD | 6 FF (BEAST! well deserved)

Tamba Hali has 49 tackles | 0 INT | 9 sacks | 0 TD | 1 FF (pretty average for 3-4 pass rushing OLB)

Robert Mathis has 30 tackles | 1 INT | 8 sacks | 0 TD | 1 FF (pretty average for 3-4 pass rushing OLB)

Wesley Woodyard has 113 tackles | 3 INT | 5.5 sacks | 1 FF ( beast year for a 4-3 OLB)

_________________________________________

Lastly but certainly not least Demaryius Thomas he deserved to go over Andre Johnson, Welker and Wayne

A.J. Green: 95 receptions | 1,324 yds | | 13.4 avg | 11 TDs

Andre Johnson: 100 receptions | 1,457 yds | 14.6 avg | 4 TDs

Reggie Wayne: 102 receptions | 1,315 yds | 12.9 avg | 5 TDs

Wes Welker: 110 receptions | 1,260 yds | 11.5 avg | 5 TDs

Demaryius Thomas: 87 receptions | 1,312 yds | 15.1 avg | 9 TDs

Overall he has less receptions, and just about the the same yardage as everyone but more TD catches than everyone else except AJ Green. He has the highest YPC average of the entire group.

2 of the key components to the Broncos top 5 defense & 1 of the key components to Mannings comeback MVP worthy season snubbed. Shame to see such good players snubbed but its all good though we are going to the Superbowl anyway so they won't be playing in the pro bowl.

DT was the big snub. His yr way better then Welkers. This is why the pro bowl is a joke. Better off just smoking a bowl and not worrying about it. Thats what i am doing!

Having the same yardage but less receptions from a WR is actually more impressive IMO. Its all about ypc and tds for WR IMO. That means you make big big plays. Welker IMO more a cherry picker. I would love to sign him and put him in the slot though lol.

Woodyard and DT got snubbed

And while I though Harris deserved consideration, you wont find many #2 corners that make the pro bowl

You cant compare stats of a #2 corner to that of a #1
Cant really compare corner stats to begin with honestly

Fine by me. When WW and DT are up for contract extending Denver can say you haven't made the pro bowl yet.

Yeah number 2 corners don't deserve to be in the pro bowl.

But Woodyard and DT deserved to go.

Doesn't matter because the Broncos will be in New Orleans the Monday after the Pro Bowl getting ready to win title #3

Cromartie is a #2 corner only starts cause revis is on IR

also I think Chris Harris being a #2 corner due to having Champ Bailey the best CB in the history of the NFL shouldn't be a negative.

Chris Harris could probably start over a lot of #1 corners in the league on other teams. I could name a few if you want.

Mathis over WW3 was a big snub, but it happens to unknown players often. He'll get his day.

DT was also a snub, but a reasonable one. Logjammed position..

Cromartie was the AFCs best CB this season so him over Harris is very spot on correct.

Good points, good thread, but I honestly don't give a **** right now. This teamis a legitimate threat for winning it all - which is the greatest honor. Keep our important parts and add a few in the offseason, and we could dominate the next 3-5 years.

I'm proud of this club win or lose, but I am going from generally optimistic to highly optometric right now. The pro bowl is a nice honor, but half the times it is a joke. I'm proud of our guys, but am now expecting to see them in the big game that matters (not the pro bowl).

I cannot believe a 2-whatever team sent 5 guys, clearly their Punter needed to go based on volume of work alone but Hali is overrated trash, Berry is Ok but not probowl Ok.

What a complete joke. Not our guys will be playing in it due to the fact we will be playing in the SB the following week.

Ehh... I think he still misses on too many plays to take it to an All pro type level but he has had a couple monster games.

I really thought DT was deserving, dude is a monster.

Hopefully the end result is the snubbing will be by the Broncos because they have bigger and better things to prepare for!

how awesome is it that we went from having no pass rush for so many years to now having two probowl edge rushers! Way to go Von Doom!

Cromartie has kicked ass this year in fairness, sucks for Harris but c'est la vie. Thomas lost out in a position where elite players are dime a dozen. Woodyard is confusing considering he didnt even get named an alternate.

Love the disrespect though, let it light a fire

On a related note, I'm delighted to see Phil Dawson and Blair Walsh getting their dues...also, i find KC naming 5 probowlers on a 2 win team somewhat hilarious!

Honestly, I think our Colquitt should've gone, he's been a beast this year if you look at his stats.

Him and Thomas I would've picked over some other guys.
Harris was a reach, and Woodyard is just too unknown.

On the flip side. Them not getting Pro-Bowl selections gives them less use ammo to use to increase their cost in contract negotiations. Tons of them will be FA's in 2014. Cheaper players adds up.

It usually takes making an AP All-Pro team for players to recognize the unknowns.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NaVorro_Bowman

Went from 1st team All-Pro last year with NO Pro-Bowl to a Pro-Bowl this year.

I think it's a sign that a team is just that - a team - when it is 12-3 and is only sending 5 players to the Pro Bowl.

Other teams will know their worth if the Broncos don't but they do.

If you can figure out the Pro Bowl is not an accurate gauge of talent why would you thing 32 GM's don't know this.

In 1997, the 12-4 Broncos sent only John Elway, Terrell Davis, Shannon Sharpe, Tom Nalen and Neil Smith to the Pro Bowl.

I wonder how many teams we sent into a tail spin after we beat them.

San Diego the first game

KC the first game

Carolina?

Tampa Bay?
