The long, storied career of Ray Lewis is coming to an end.

The Baltimore Ravens linebacker informed teammates and coaches on Wednesday that Sunday's playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts will be his final run at M&T Bank Stadium, according to the team.

Ray Lewis has been playing football since we had our old uniforms with the D horse logo. That's how old this dude is.

He's saying it's his last game at the home stadium. The only scenario where it wouldn't be his last home game is if both the Broncos and Patriots lose in the divisional round and the Ravens end up hosting the AFC Championship game. I think his assumption is fairly safe regardless of the Ravens winning or not.

EDIT: Actually the only scenario where the Ravens could play another home after next week would be a Bengals at Ravens AFC Championship game.

Sometimes, you get to the point where the body just won't perform murder like it used to. At that point, you have to make a decision. Do I perform murder at 40 percent or 50 percent of what I used to be capable of? Or do I shut it down while I'm still committing murder at a high level?
