Default It's officially Ravens week - GO BRONCOS

My prediction;

This will be THE game the Broncos put it all together, all season has been building up to THIS game.

10 days to prepare. Enough said

Manning's record of picking this defense apart when they were much stronger than they are now.

The maturity of the Broncos.

The prize of a bye and a guaranteed home game.

The memory that many key players have of all the disappointing seasons and the realization they actually have a good chance at winning it all. As well as the ability to convey this to the younger players who have shown to be willing to listen.

The cohesiveness of the team, they truly play for each other. They are accountable to each other.

Peyton Manning has a will like few men do and the skill and intelligence bring it to bear.

Team will be healthy and both physically and mentally rested.

The Broncos have learned it is much better to leave a day early for the East Coast games and it has worked.

The Ravens have just come off two really physically draining losses.

The Ravens are without there two best defensive players.

The Ravens will not out coach the Broncos, it's better than even when you factor in Peyton Manning.

The Ravens have lost their mojo with their emotional leader sidelined and even if he plays he is not in game shape and certainly not game changing player he once was.

Broncos 36

Ravens 13

This is not your Broncos of recent years, stop comparing this team to the past. Apples to oranges... or should I gold to lead.

Oh....and we got Peyton F'N Manning!

Ravens are not that good. We just need to cut down OUR mistakes and we'll handle them.

If Denver does not turn the ball over they will win, but how many games this year have they done that? I think they can force Flaco into an int or two which would be huge.

This is what I said in another post. I think we are definitely the more talented team and if we play mostly mistake free football we handle them. The only way I think this is a game is if we make a few crucial mistakes (as in turnovers or allow big plays) or alot of small mistakes (like penalties, dropped passes, allowing too many 3rd down conversions).

I'm so geared up for this game I can barely stand the wait. I'm not saying the remaining games after this game will be guaranteed victories for us but if we win this game against the Ratbirds, I really believe we will keep that #2 seed (if NE loses a game) and roll into the playoffs with an 11 game winning streak, a first round bye and a very very good shot at winning it all. I'm pumped.

Adding to the pain of having lost two straight nailbiters, the already banged-up Ravens lost two more of their best players to injury yesterday - an ankle sprain left Baltimore guard Marshal Yanda on crutches after the game, and Jeff Legwold says it could be a season-ending injury for the Pro Bowler. LB Jameel McClain suffered a neck injury that had him in serious pain, although X-rays were negative.

They can ill afford to lose either player, but McClain's injury could be particularly devastating to the Ravens this week, as they have already been without fellow starting linebacker Dannell Ellerbe for two games, and Terrell Suggs yesterday. It's unclear whether Ellerbe or Suggs will be back for Sunday, and although Ray Lewis is still aiming to play, it appears far from certain that he will.

Baltimore had already lost Lardarius Webb for the season in October, and they also have been missing fellow starting corner Jimmy Smith, who had hernia surgery last month. Smith returned to practice on Wednesday, and there's also a possibility he will be back to face the Broncos.
