Heard this on PTI, the scoring team will have the ball on their own 30 yard line with a 4th and 15 and can punt the ball from there, or go for the first down. Extremely gimmicky, but it would add excitement to teams trailing by multiple possessions late in games to make comebacks.

Most ridiculous thing ever. I understand they want more player safety but since they moved where the kickoffs were kicked from, I would say 75% of kicks now are touchbacks.

Just Goodell trying to put his own finger print on the game. The kickoff is tradition, it's been a part of the game for a long time. They made it safer already. Leave your MF hands off the game Goodell.
