ABC News Anchor Sam Donaldson Arrested For DUI In Lewes
Dec 19, 2012 -- 9:40am
A former network reporter was recently arrested for DUI here at the beach.

Former ABC News political reporter Sam Donaldson was pulled over on Savannah Road by Lewes Police on December 1 for a traffic violation. An officer says that he’d been drinking. Donaldson failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He’s been scheduled for a court appearance at a later date.

Whats funny is I don't know what reporters are liberl and conservative outside of Bill Orielly, Rush, Maddow, Olberman and a couple others. Was Sam a big liberal? I don't really watch the news much i guess lol. I usually read it out of a newspaper or online etc.

i used to think she was called madcow and it made me chuckle and well sammy is a bit of a liberal but since he is famous will he be tossed in jail for drinking or just get a slap on the wrist

I read his book that he wrote in the early 90s. He made it his mission to ask tough questions to Democrat AND Republican presidents. He's one of the few reporters I feel confident in saying that he did his job without bias...
