A second opinion confirmed that DE/OLB Terrell Suggs has sustained a torn right biceps.
Suggs still doesn't know if he can play through the injury, saying "we got to see how it goes." His effectiveness would depend on how severe the tear is. "My concern is would I help or hinder the team," he said. The Ravens are going to give Suggs plenty of time to figure things out before placing him on injured reserve. He's the reigning Defensive Player of the Year. Source: Rotoworld (from Aaron Wilson on Twitter) |

Broncos are the better team. We should finally beat them! Won't be easy because they're tough at home, but should.
Statisically... Denver is 3rd/10th defensively based on yards/scoring Baltimore is 25th/8th Denver is 5th/3rd offensively based on yards/scoring Baltimore is 19th/9th As for metrics... Sagarin has Denver 4th, Baltimore 10th Advanced NFL Stats has Denver 1st, Baltimore 20th PFF has Denver tied for 2nd, Baltimore 10th Football Outsiders has Denver 2nd, Baltimore 9th |

Terrell Suggs (torn biceps) says he's a game-time decision for Sunday, and that shutting himself down for the season is "not an option."
The Baltimore Sun considers Suggs a "long-shot" for Week 14, and so do we. Playing through a torn upper-arm muscle is tricky business, and if Suggs is going to do so, he'll likely need at least a week or two to get his bearings. He also admits making his injury worse is a possibility. "I think any time you have an injury and you play with it, you risk making it worse." Suggs is probably less than 50-50 to play again this season. Source: Rotoworld (via Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter) |

It's still crazy to think that 12-4 would likely net the Broncos a four seed.
Although I guess that there was the one year we went 11-5 and didn't make the damn playoffs ![]() |

yeah, and there is no difference between the 3rd and 4th seed. Actually, you might want the 4th seed and Face Indy where as the 3rd seed you'd have Cin or Pit.

Back then only 3 division winners and 3 WCs......vs. 4 and 2, respectively today. AND at 12-4 we were the 2nd best record in the AFC. Pitt was the 2 seed at 11-5. NE was the 3 seed at 10-6. We were 4 seed at 12-4. |

Meh. The 3 seed is still better. Assuming that the 4 beats the 1 and the 3 beats the 2 in the divisional round......you'd be back home for the conference championship as the 3-seed.

I have a feeling the 3 seed gives you NE in the divisional round.
No thank you. I'll take my chances in Houston and go to NE only for the AFCCG. |

No update on Suggs yet.......but, as expected, Jameel McClain and Marshal Yanda will miss Sunday's game vs. Denver.

At this point in the season and with our win streak, I think it's more important that we face stout competition than hope for a better seed. It gives the Broncos a better test to prepare for the playoffs, and gives a better learning experience. A better Ravens team would help expose some weaknesses Broncos need to work on and I believe would help them for the playoffs moreso, than just a wounded win.
With that being said, I don't know how much Suggs would be able to contribute considering a torn bicep would likely hinder him from playing anywhere near 100%...same with Ray Lewis...torn triceps though? The muscle you use to push? |

I expect a lot of hurry up from Flacco and co.
Will be a good test to see if our defense can shut them down without having to substitute Our offense should be able to put up points though That defense is hurting |

Looking good for Moreno though not having to face Suggs, Lewis, Mclain in that front 7. Ngata is a beast though and can still hurt us inside. |
