Old Dude posted this last week but it is buried in a long gone thread. It's fun to play around with and thought it deserved it's own thread. Should generate some good discussion..... |

I like that - and not just because Denver gets the #2 seed. There are a lot of good match ups in there. I would like to see the Skins get in this year. A Pitt/B-more playoff match up is always entertaining. Maybe the Colts could make it more entertaining vs the Pats this time around?

IF Den wins out AND IF NE loses to SF OR HOU, Denver would need to beat Cleveland and KC, both games at home, to clinch the bye week. This is great news for me - I'm planning on flying out to Denver for the playoff game (again), but need to book tickets 14 days in advance. This lets me know that I can wait until after the Baltimore trip to book my flight. |

Has us winning out and getting the 2nd seed. Seems to be the most likely scenario to me. |

If we win out and NE loses to HOU this weekend, we get the #2 spot. I don't think that's an unreasonable scenario

For me, Houston beating NE is one of the biggest games of the season. I don't want to see Denver at NE. Even if Denver loses to Balt (and all else goes according to plan), Denver falls to the 4th seed but NE falls to the 3rd.
2nd seed would be great but I just want someone, ANYONE, to knock out NE for the Broncos. |
