But it could sure help the fanbase as a whole. Those who want Tebow to play because they're Tebow fans can eventually wear and convince the rest of the fanbase to the point that major fractures occur. Everyone being able to unite behind a competent QB can isolate those that just want to root for their favorite player but refuse to admit it.

Hell in that scenario I would think both sides in that argument are morons.

If they go to McElroy with those ****ty stats after being the 3rd QB and inactive for the mayority of the season over a healthy Tebow, that will cause a bigger fracture in the locker room and the fanbase.

The ones that don't get caught up in the back in forth of it all have to listen to those that do and in ways does take some of the fun out of it...

By keeping Tebow out, they could see what they had in this other QB whose name I can't remember due to beer fogginess kicking in. At any rate, they finally got that Sanchez is not their guy but they also don't think Tebow is for sure and dont' want to test it until they see their other option. Actually not too absurd. When you have a wildcat type QB that you may bring in situationally, it's fairly common to make him your #2 on gameday even though he may be the #3 QB in reality. If anything happens to the QB, the gameday #2 takes over but then for the next game, the #3 may become the starter.

In this case, Tebow was active with those ribs for 2 or 3 weeks then he's inactive when Sanchez gets benched.

I haven't seen enough to think he is better. But what I have seen when he's out there is more than I saw with tebow as a jet. McElroy was the only QB to score a TD the entire preseason. Tebow and Sanchez both couldn't even score 1 TD.
