Default Props to Brady Quinn.....

His on field performance was legit (19/23 201 yards and 2 TDs) but especially for the way he handled himslef on the podium in the post game press conference.......He took some heat while in Denver but I actually feel as though he's an adequate backup and as evidenced from his composure and perspective , a FIRST CLASS human being..........

"• Finally, this piece of wisdom from one of Sunday's heroes. Brady Quinn, drafted by the Browns in 2007, hasn't had a lot of great moments in the NFL. In fact, he hasn't had a lot of good ones. But yesterday was a great day for Quinn, and for his Chiefs. He was the most mature adult in the room -- the room being the entire NFL -- in Week 13 when he eloquently used his post-game platform to address the larger society and how it may have failed Jovan Belcher. "When you ask someone how they are doing, do you really mean it? When you answer someone back how you are doing, are you really telling the truth? We live in a society of social networks, with Twitter pages and Facebook, and that's fine, but we have contact with our work associates, our family, our friends, and it seems like half the time we are more preoccupied with our phone and other things going on instead of the actual relationships that we have right in front of us. Hopefully, people can learn from this and try to actually help if someone is battling something deeper on the inside than what they are revealing on a day-to-day basis."

That, folks, is the best message I can leave you with today.

I have said so all along and got blasted for it every time.

...and very impressive was he with his comments on the terrible thing that transpired.

Love this. When I saw him say this, I immediatley gained an immense amount of respect for him as a human being, and he played well on top of it. Good for him. I think this message will unfortunatley get lost, but it is true. How often do you spend time with someone and they have their phone out at all times. Next time you're out to dinner or at the bar, look around and count how many people this applies to. It's upsetting when you realize we are losing touch with reality.

Yup, agreed. From Romeo and Quinn's press conference you can tell the weight these guys are carrying around with them. I imagine Charles is really doing poorly also as his wife's cousin was the victim. It's impressive they were able to pull out such a performance yesterday.

Quinn is a really good guy, he played like a franchise QB on sunday.
he likely won't be a starter in this league in the future but he is a good teammate to have when there isn't a certain QB on the roster.

Are there hot chicks at this church group?

Do they accept atheists? I'll do it if I can keep a bottle of whiskey under the lectern and do the gospel freakout.

The guy who murdered his girlfriend, and then traumatized a bunch of people by blowing his brains out in front of them, is up in the sky playing guardian angel for Brady Quinn? If that's true God is one ****ed up dude...

I hope Quinn does just enough to have KC think he is the future of the franchise.
