He'll be too expensive. I'd rather they save the cap space and get a speed/slot guy in the draft.

He'd also want the X or Z spot in the base formation... I'd rather just keep rolling with Decker and Thomas, and get another Stokley-type to replace Stokley.

Both Bowe and Charles played their asses off. I wouldn't care if our guys waited around for a photo op/auto situation with Brady.

Considering PM is in year 14/15 with 3 neck surgeries....you take the opportunity when it arises.

Nothing to report here....in my opinion.

I agree but I would literally sport mahogany if we brought in Welker to work the slot.

Seems to me one of the coolest things about being in the NFL is sharing the field with dozens of legends during your career—seeking a few of them out for a picture is a cool idea, have some great memorabilia to pass to your children. It's not like Charles and Bowe are starstruck little kids, they just appreciate it's a rare opportunity to play against/meet future Hall of Famers.

This. Players trade game worn jerseys, and memorabilia all of the time. If anything, waiting around for an autograph shows the respect that Bowe and Charles have for the game and the history of the game. Charles is basically everything I hoped Moreno would be when the Broncos drafted him in the top 15. Too bad he plays for Pioli and a joke of a franchise that is basically running him into the ground.

Is fun as Welker would be in the slot I almost think Thomas and Bowe on the outside and Decker in the slot would be better and maybe even cheaper. I'm not a big fan of Bowe though.

They'd have to give him a 20% raise, which would mean about $12 mil for one year. That's a lot of dough for one year rental of a WR.
