Default RETURNING FROM IR / What is the rule?

Do we have any players on IR that would qualify to return for the playoffs?

I had to look this up, but a team can return one player from IR per season...

I think there are some qualifiers as to who can be returned to the active roster but I don't know what they are.

Maybe, you're referring to this point: (from my second link)

Now, if a player is hurt and put on injured reserve after Sept. 4, that player may return to the active roster eight weeks after the IR designation, and the player must be on the IR list for at least six weeks. In addition, a player must be "designated for return" at the time of his IR classification, which means that a team must anticipate a player's ability to return midseason. Teams can't just hope their key injured player will recover in time.

Ya that's it. Should be anyone on IR that is cleared to play by the doctors IMO

Wonder is there is a list of IR players that teams designated to be eligible to return.

I think each team gets to designate one player, who is able to return. I don't think the Broncos have used that designation on anybody.
