Creepy mural of Obama in Myanmar raises eyebrows – When President Barack Obama landed in Yangon on Monday, he became the first sitting U.S. president to visit Burma or as the country is now known as Myanmar.

As the Presidents arrival marks a historic event an eerie mural of the President has set off an internet frenzy after people focused their attention on the murals depiction of the President.

There is no need to share what kind of reaction people have given following their sight of the Presidents mural in Myanmar that reads: “Welcome Obama”. Why the creepy look?

Even the children walking by the mural look a bit uneasy.


The U.S. government recently began rolling back economic sanctions against Myanmar, also known as Burma, to recognize its transition from military rule toward a more democratic system.

FYI .... Kenya is in east Africia. Burma is in southeast Asia and is made up of mostly Buddhists. Muslims and Christian face religious persecution in Burma.
