Funny how many members on here were all against Denver bringing him in...hell, we had several who didn't even want us to pursue him at all.....I still shake my head in disbelief when I recall those threads......

Man, what a leader. Gets it done on the field and keeps after his guys on the sidelines asking for production and execution.
This is why Elway drafted Osweiller this year instead of going with another position. He felt the experience of having a young QB watching and hearing everything Manning does in practice, during games, would be PRICELESS. That kind of first hand education doesn't come around very often and kudos to John for not wasting that opportunity. Should be interesting to see him next year in preseason to see how much he's learned. |

that was pretty sweet...I lol'ed about the "#1 rule you don't do..." good stuff...he's definitely got the team leader bit under control...I'm still a bit numb that he's our qb...

Peyton seems like a really good mentor to the younger guys... the best part of the video is him talking to Ronnie Hillman after he scores his first career touchdown.
"Is that your first? Did you keep the ball?" |

Awesome candid game film with Peyton Manning as a Bronco. Doesn't get no better than this.
Great to see the emotion. The only time we get to see him is in front of the press, where he obviously acts much different, never curses, doesn't show emotion, and doesn't really like talking about other players. You can tell he's excited about how the Defense is playing...and knows they have to get the run game going better. |

Seriously, some people had valid concerns. Personally, I didn't think the Broncos were going to be able to lure him and wanted us to target less ambitious free agents instead of putting our our efforts into what I believed would ultimately be a failed attempt. I also didn't want to get my hopes up, just to be let down (Something the Broncos had made a habit of in the last few years) But, the moment he signed with Denver, I was completely on board. And I'm pretty certain that the majority of the Orange Mane was right there with me.

Broncos/Manning were on SoundFX, NFL Turning Point, and Inside The NFL last night.
Pretty freakin' awesome!!! I suggest you set your DVRs for the repeats if you have those channels. (NFL Turning Point is on NBC Sports and Inside The NFL is on Showtime) |

Love the fire!!!! Still can't believe he's our QB....every Sunday, I just think about opposing fans, and how WE'VE been the ones saying "well, ****. Manning is just too good". The fact that WE'RE the ones that can score at will in under 2 minutes just blows my mind. Never out of a game!
