numner 1? And your saying you want the EPA to not be able to regulate co2? or am i just reading that wrong.
co2 isn't pollution we breathe that out. Its silly for EPA to try and regulate global warming like that. Silly in fact. |

We dont have 60 billion to spend on infrastructure projects. Besides Obamas ideas a joke. He gave millions for high speed trains that probably never get built and aren't needed.

BS Lui did not have the age required to know his stances. He is now appointed by Gov Brown in CA to our supreme court and the jury is out on him still. Do you even know who this guy is to say he was qualified at 41 to move to the federal court of appeals? Only in liberal CA could he win confirmation. Way to left for the Repubs to let him dance through.

CO2 levels need to maintain a delicate balanced with O2 levels on this planet if we don't want to see a greenhouse gas effect resulting in global climate change. Is the best way to do that regulating greenhouse gas emissions? Not entirely. But then, like all things an all inclusive approach is better than a one bullet solution, because that bullet has to hit somebody and bullets can be fatal. A long term road map in which fossil fuels based power and factories need to reduce green house gases should be one part of a multifaceted approach. Some gradual approach will give R&D enough room to keep pace with the tightening demands. Augment this regulatory road map with the gov't. helping these very utility companies roll out state of the art alternatives. That would include some wind, solar, etc. if geographically sensible, but primarily would hinge on nuclear power ultimately replacing our fossil fuels power industry. A reduction in global deforestation would go a long ways towards that end as well though, not to mention some aggressive re-planting. Trees are a renewable resource and they do more than just turn into lumber and toilet paper. They're vital erosion control, maintain wildlife ecosystems, and best of all, cycle CO2 out of the atmosphere and replace it with O2. |

Yeah, who wants high speed, efficient rail transportation like what the rest of the developed nations have? Why would you want to get from one place to another safely? And for less money? We're cool being behind Russia, I guess.
