Default Billionaires Not Happy With Turdblossom

"The billionaire donors I hear are livid," one Republican operative told The Huffington Post. "There is some holy hell to pay. Karl Rove has a lot of explaining to do … I don't know how you tell your donors that we spent $390 million and got nothing."

Rove even suffered the indignity of being insulted on Twitter by the blustery Donald Trump, who had attended Romney's election night party here on Tuesday night, but left early after it was clear that Obama had won a second term.

"Congrats to @KarlRove on blowing $400 million this cycle. Every race @CrossroadsGPS ran ads in, the Republicans lost. What a waste of money," Trump tweeted, inaccurately.

Oh, and the Heritage Foundation has declared war. Again. They're going to bring freedom back to America. Which sounds kind of like Tebow taking Christianity to all those Catholics in the Phillippines. I think the GOP is just really pissed that all these people of color, and women, are getting out there and voting. Got to figure out some way to stop that.

I've been suspecting for some time now that maybe our current system of political donations, SuperPacs, etc. isn't that big of a problem after all. I think that people don't pay much attention to advertisements. I suspect it's the debates, speeches, news articles, websites, and party affiliation that are the most influential to voters -- and those things aren't dependent on money.

Wonder how long it will take these jackasses to break through their denial and realize their brand has become about as toxic as it gets?

The biggest issue is getting money out of politics. Karl will recover. He's like a roach.
