Default Trindon Holliday wins AFC special teams player of week

The Texans got tired of waiting on Trindon Holliday to replicate his preseason magic, and the Broncos were the beneficiaries.

Holliday’s 105-yard kickoff return for a touchdown last week helped the Broncos beat the Bengals, and it earned Holliday AFC special teams player of the week honors.

The 5-5 speedster had three return touchdowns in the preseason for the Texans, but they waived him earlier this year when he failed to carry that over into the regular season. The Broncos were quick to claim him, and needed the boost.

Holliday also authored one of the fastest 40-yard dashes in combine history — electronically timed at 4.29 seconds — which is tied with several players as the third fastest since electronic timing was first used in 1999.

But what Holliday also has is what scouts call "long speed." As in he isn't just fast for 40 yards, or 50, or even 60. No, Holliday is as fast as the field is long.

Also to note, the trophy is the same size as Holliday.

Good job Trindon. Take that extra step into the endzone next time.

It was a moment that could be called the "turn around"..

It started the beginning of the end for the bungals..

lets hope he bulks up a bit in the arm strength, as a few folks are reaching to strip the ball instead of going for the legs..

just a matter of time before they get one..

Probably the same for another TD or three..

I have to admit i love watching this guy return kicks. He's lightning.

Though i dont understand why NFL players feel the need to taunt DURING big plays. Just ****ing run into the endzone.

Because for the most part in the NFL they are high level cretins.. That said I suspect that someone named John will tell him to knock off the stupidity.
He was nor claimed to be a moron but be a Bronco whom Elways seems to be increasing the IQ level since he became the GM.

Hopefully he adopts a layup over the Goal posts as his finisher. Dont want to see him going all Desean jackson for the touchback.
