I don't doubt.

Heck, some of them are even saying The Denver Post is some sort of socialist propaganda organ bent on controlling the minds of the masses.

I'm sure that as we speak Khan is refreshing the Weekly Standard's homepage for a rebuttal.

The problem lies in what you fools define as 'good'. For you, creating 8 jobs is 'good'. Hint: it takes at least 150k jobs to keep up with population growth alone. Of course, you're undoubtedly gonna close your eyes when the 'revision' from BLS comes out for September and they revise it down, right?

You're all so desperate for ANY good news out of this administration that you're willing to lower your standards to nothing to get it. ADP already revised last month down to 88k jobs. UE rate will come in around 7.7% due to even more Americans not being counted in that figure, and then the BLS statisticians can be reunited with their families.

I keep telling you boneheads that ADP's number IS A CALCULATED NUMBER. They don't do everyones payroll. The only entity that gets all payroll info is the Govt. They are in the best position to produce a number.

Consumer confidence in October rose to its highest level in four years, boosted by improvements in the job market.
The closely watched index, which measures how Americans feel about the economy, edged higher to a reading of 72.2 from a downwardly revised 68.4 in September, according to The Conference Board, a business research firm.

It marks the highest level since February 2008, when the country was at the early stages of a long and deep recession.
The reading came in slightly higher than what economists were expecting, according to a Briefing.com consensus.

Nobody is saying ADP is the authoritative figure, are they? ADP, however, is notorious for overshooting. Depending on your optimism, take a percentage of that and forecast from there--I'd go 60-65%. Don't forget you also have the outlier from last month's household survey that SHOULD correct itself this month, but knowing this admin, it just might take another month to do so.

If the UE rate comes in at 7.4 or something crazy, be skeptical and look forward to the 2016 GOP primary cuz Romney's dead in the water.

The rethugs are crossing their fingers and praying for bad news on the jobs front.

We have been lied to so persistently for so long -- about the economy and much else -- that you'd have to be terminally brain dead to believe the numbers, especially with the election just days away.

But many Americans will believe anything (especially if they want to)...

I absolutely hate linking to such biased sites (because then I become LABF and Smirkingchimp.com) but this site has nearly every response to monthly jobs reports from the Obama administration.

So, let's all take their advice tomorrow, and "not read too much into one months jobs report..."

Your brain is clearly broken such that facts appear "dumb" to you.

Meanwhile, here in the real world, your party has been consistently putting itself before country for the past four years.

The crime syndicate masquerading as a political party you support has more than once shown its willingness to hurt America in order to damage Obama.

In DBruleU's weird logical world, the proposition "2+2=4" is suspect if it's posted on a site he doesn't like.

Hey, you bought that promise hook, line, and sinker from Obama when he promised we'd be at 5.2% by now. Bet you feel stupid now.

The job additions can't even keep up with growth. Study up on how many jobs usually are created after a recession and you will see Obamas recovery the worst on record. Unemployment goes up again. Not good numbers for Obama. In fact no president has even been re-elected with unemployment this high.

they try and spin this but the numbers are horrid. it takes 150 thousand jobs just to keep up with all the kids becoming men and women each month and joining the workforce. Obama is a good dad, a good husband, and thats where it ends. He's a crappy attorney, never tried a case, and a failure as a politician.

Consumer confidence only means the people with jobs feel they aren't going to lose them in the immediate future. A good thing but it doesn't mean economy growing. You could say it means it has leveled off and people who still have jobs feel good about their situation.

What is the current numbers, 1 job added and 75 people added to food stamps? If so, that isn't anything to be proud of!

it's so slow i worry this damn hurricane is all we need to push us back into recession.

I'm not saying its Obama's fault. He came in with a bad economy. I am saying he has proved he doesn't know how to fix it. Reforming healthcare in the middle of the worst recession in last 25 yrs was not a smart move. It was a liberal political move that took advantage of the fact repubs were voted out and he had both houses of Congress.

It's like he thought the economy would fix itself by now. I have to admit i thought it would have also and Obama would be sitting pretty right now.

it's obvious though we need some real changes in how govt spends and collects money. Obama doesn't know enough about numbers, business, and economics for that. IMO he is more of a social type thinker.
