i know, which is what made it so hilarious that he would have been MVP had the Spurs not gone brain dead in game 6.
he would have haunted LeBron from his Cleveland days.

i love to see the Lakers ****ed over. they've been screwing teams over in trades for years and now it finally catches up to them.
all they had to do was hire Phil and it never gets to this point. no big man is gonna want to play for D'Antoni because he doesn't use post guys right.

This isn't really true. I'm not saying the Nuggets are a free agent hot spot, because they aren't. But we're not Siberia, either. The truth about the Carmelo era in Denver is much like Cleveland with LeBron, management ****ed up time and again with free agents. We signed guys. We traded 3 first round picks for Kenyon Martin who had not one but two bad knees. We dumped a LOT of time and money into Nene who is soft as toilet paper, blew out his ACL, and even had cancer. We had a past his prime Allen Iverson. The only really good moves this team made was acquiring Chauncey Billups and then the trade value they got for Carmelo.

Again, Denver isn't a sexy market like Los Angeles, but blaming the Nuggets woes on that is a total cop out. We've made free agent blunder after blunder for the past decade. Then when we finally had a competent GM, we run him out of town.

Edit: Point being, as it relates to Iggy: he took less money to be on a better team. Denver had nothing to do with it.

As a Laker fan, I am pretty happy the human vagina is taking his world tour to Houston. Guy never fit in here and brought more hype than production. I hope we do not spend money on over priced free agents now and save the cap space for 2014's epic potential free agency period.

Lead the league in rebounds with a bad back. (Poor Offensive Production, but again bad back), and over 2 Blocks again and even more redirected shots....

whatever. Houston will take Dwight and bank on at least those numbers.

you can't sign any FA's all you have is the MMLE(about 3 mil) because you guys are tax payers. unless you take back contracts in a S&T you guys are ****ed in terms of replacing Howard in FA. but if you take back contracts then you get screwed in 2014.

i can see them getting by Memphis easily, Hollins was a big loss.
Joerger is good but Hollins has been seriously underrated as a loss by that fan base and NBA experts.

Dwight Howard and his camp haven't told the Lakers or Rockets anything. They didn't tell LA that he's leaving or tell HOU that he's signing.

What's the big hold up? "It's hard to walk away from $30 million," said a source close to Dwight Howard. "Harder than we thought."

What a circus. Everyone was 100 percent sure Dwight was heading to Houston, this would surpass Nick Athan of the Shanny "deal is done" fiasco by a mile.

Yup. RT @ESPNNBA On @SportsCenter, @Chris_Broussard reports Dwight Howard has had change of heart, is now 50-50 on decision to leave Lakers
Dwightmare continues...

I think he ends up with LA, can't turn down that extra 30 million the Lakers can offer. He's got 5 different child support payments to make.

I'm not sure but I think Memphis swept them during the season. I remember listening to Bob Fitzgerald say something about Memphis being a horrible match up for them. Iggy helps out though.
