Yep. An ideal world would have us not having to deal with Curry. But, since the Rockets took a massive dump against Phoenix, we most likely will. At least it will be an entertaining series.

I think if we hold the 3-seed we win the first round series either way, but yeah I'd rather just let Igoudala shut down Harden rather than deal with Curry, David Lee, etc.

Being the Suns fan I already know the outcome of tonight.

Lakers over Rockets (Lakers face Spurs and beat them, in round 1)
Utah over Memphis (doesnt matter)
Nuggets over Suns
GS wins (Nuggs narrowly beat the Warriors in a 7 gamer in round 1)

edit: thus screwing the suns out of the lakers lottery pick

Being a suns fan then you should know how much Parker owns Nash
Spurs lakers always play each other like a true rivalry. But it's gonna be the spurs against the lakers, the refs, and stern. I'm interested in seeing how many fouls are called against houston tonight

Scoring title for Melo! Bring the hate! Good season for him and the Knicks, hopefully they can make the ECF before Miami hands them their ass.

I think the most entertaining first round matchups would be Nuggets-Warriors, Lakers-Spurs, Rockets-Thunder, Grizz-Clippers

Would be very surprised if the Rockets won tonight. I think they're tanking it to avoid the Nuggets in the first round.

Would be nice to see them take out the heat. But chances of that happening are slim

the only team in the East that has a shot at that is the Bulls and that won't happen until D Rose comes back. and i don't want him on the court til next season.

How sweet would that be? But I can't picture it. I'm sure we can grab a game or two, but they are too good.

Indiana seems to play them well. But right now only thing I see taking out the heat is an injury

Just picked up a couple of good tickets for tonight. This game is too important to leave to chance.

My family is all KU fans. That was my team before the Thunder.

I liked watching the NBA from time to time, but was only fan of certain players i.e. MJ, Kobe, Reggie and all the former Jayhawks.

Never really had a favorite NBA team. Just enjoyed watching. A lot of people around here are former Mavs fans because they are 3 hours away.
I never really had a taste for the Mavs though.

I know you want to hang on to your narrative about Melo, but there are few if any Nuggets fans that hate Melo these days. It might have been different if they had really struggled, and sucked for the past few years, but the fact is that they're better than they were when he was here. I think most Nuggets fans wish him well, and are grateful to him for the role he had in turning the franchise around. So sorry, but no hate. Congratulations to Melo.

Gotcha. After I started thinkin about it I kind of figured you didn't have an NBA team before the move. Reason being how you're a chiefs fan all these years without jumping their ship.

Eh, well maybe you haven't hated him, but some here definitely have. Both the nuggs and knicks are pretty good. Everything worked out for both sides. Both will lose to the heat and thunder if they get that far haha

I think when the trade first happened, there was a lot of anger at Melo. It stings when your city/team whatever isn't good enough. Or doesn't fit the guy's plan. People are anxious to use the word hate, but there's a difference between anger and hate. The anger has dissipated. I haven't heard anyone mention Melo at all in quite a long time.

Melo is a turd floating in the toilet bowl known as NY...I was angry at him, but now could care less about him...just happy everything worked out for the Nuggs.

The Nuggets win number 57 and secure the 3 seed. Great, great season. Congratulations to the team and to George. He really blended these guys together in a way that made them possibly the most fun team to watch that I've ever seen. Can't wait to see how they do in the playoffs.

Hilarious. Rockets over the foul limit with 9 minutes left in the 4th. Stern and the refs continue to push a lakers spurs series.
