That was an epic win. What a good game. I felt like the Bulls were going to take it and then we got our act together in OT. They had all the momentum going in, though.

Definitely nice to get that win, so that tomorrow will be the end of the streak instead of the beginning of a new one. I'd love to eat crow on that but the odds are so stacked against the Nuggets... second night of a back to back after an OT game, long travel, on the road against an elite team... Karl has a tendency to view certain games like this as losses before the fact too.

Going to be a buzz saw tomorrow night in OKC. This team is showing some serious mental toughness and grit right now though. I am pretty confident we can get a win if the starters rebound from this performance but its going to be very difficult.

Listened to the Chicago radio announcers b**** and moan for 4 quarters then followed OT on my phone by refreshing the nba.com gamecast every 20 seconds. I don't recommend either.
So glad the Nuggets won, tho. |

Wilson Chandler is an amazing scoring machine. He put on a show for the old home town tonight.

So, I went to the Avs game tonight, coincidentally against the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm not a huge hockey fan, but I am a fan of live sports and a buddy organized a group thing for the "Guys Night Out" promotion. Cheap lower level tickets, a drink, etc. 3 of us were real hardcore hockey fans, and 3 of us were hardcore NBA fans. The latter 3 of us sat in our seats during the first period. During 1st intermission we found a spot to watch the Nuggets game as it was into the 4th quarter. With each passing minute, more people stop to watch. It didn't hurt that the Avs were getting dominated.
As OT is going on, 2nd intermission hits. And remember, you have a whole ton of Chicago fans too. Now the concourse is packed and nobody is moving. Security people tried to get people moving but finally gave up. It was a weird scene, especially with a live game going on not but 20 feet away, and oh yeah, no sound on the Nuggets game. The place erupted on the offensive goaltending and then McGee's block of the inbounds. I'm just going to tell people I went to the Nuggets game tonight. |

The Nuggets are one player - Lebron James - from being the best team in the league. Huge player, of course. Anyway, 3rd youngest team, and they are exceptional.

Let me say it more clearly, then. The Nuggets are currently the 2nd best team in the league. And the 3rd youngest. Nitpick away.
And adding James might make 3 or 4 teams the best in the league. Twenty is ridiculous, as you may possibly know. Last edited by bombay; 03-19-2013 at 08:17 PM.. |

Although extremely impressive for the nugs, the spurs have something to say about that 2nd best mark even without Parker. Come playoff time experience trumps young every time.

Even with tonight's impressive win, I'd still take the spurs or thunder over them if I had to bet my life on it, but they are playing damn good

Anyway, the Clippers, Memphis, Lakers, Knicks, OKC (twice), Memphis, etc are among the losers on the Nuggets current win streak.

But I knew the Knicks were done as soon as Lebron signed with Miami

The Nuggets have Philly, Sacramento, New Orleans, san antonio, and some other team coming up. At worst, they should win 4 of 5, provided they don't lose focus: and they have shown that they don't this season. They could very well win them all.

Chandler left the game with an injury that's been reported as a separated shoulder but no word on how much time he may miss
