According to Open Secrets records, the IRS Commissioner that so many described as "arrogant" contributed to every Democratic nominee for president since 1980. He gave $2,300 to Obama's first run for president in 2009 and $5,000 in 2012.

peacepipe like the letter you said didn't exist. Sorry but it's all true. He's like you being the IRS commissioner, except he had money to give.

I'm sure that, being the enlightened individual that you are, you would realize this is all public information, correct?

Never said it didn't exist. Only that you needed to back up your claim.

The President appoints the IRS Commissioner. Why do you think he would donate any money to the Republicans?

Do some research on the IRS commissioner that GW Bush appointed and how they stripped the agency of all its power and crippled them from going after big businesses.

GW appointed an IRS Commissioner whose soul purpose it was to weaken the IRS.

How can you support someone that ignored a letter like that, then lied and said he had never heard there was a problem until the TV?

No but when it gets to this point you need outside investigators, independent so they can get to the bottom of it.

it needs a special investigator who hasn't given money to either side.

let's just say dems are right. That the Bush White House was dirty and lost just as many emails to cover their asses.

Would that then mean Lerner is clean? Or would it mean you believe Lerner also lost them on purpose to cover up wrongdoing?

So basically you are saying that you don't care Obama is corrupt because you believe Bush to have been corrupt.

That doesn't make sense if what you wanted was change.

The IRS commissioner is a political appointee, I am sure if looked back there would be a little bias on the contributions no matter who it was.

Then you agree when it gets to this point, and a political appointee who is biased is stonewalling, that you need an outside investigator right?

How come Holder won't name one. It meets the standard.

The dems on the panel tried to paint his as a long time civil servant under many different admins both repub and dem. The article was pointing out it's not true.

So you're telling me that employees of the IRS aren't donating money to the political party that frequently talks about hindering or outright abolishing said employer?

No ****?

at FLA calling low taxes hindering the IRS. Classic liberal BS. It's fine Obama and the dems enjoyed the spoils by putting in loyal liberals into powerful position. We all understand that is how it works.

But once said appointee obviously biased and thwarting a Congressional investigation it's time for the attorney general to appoint a special outside investigator. If only to restore faith in the agency and prove to public nothing was covered up.

We just see more examples of idiot liberals spouting their "ok for me, but not you" nonsense. Just look at their pathetic responses. But they're geniuses and only care about the good of the country. The one good thing with this admin. is more and more people are seeing just how grossly hypocritical these jug heads are.

not to mention they compare him to Bush who they are supposed to hate. Hey liberals when all you can say is Obama does all the same things Bush did then you have lost your way. Didn't you expect a lot different then Bush?

It's the dumbest group of individuals I've ever seen. These are not low-information voters. These are people who have the information, they know the difference between right and wrong, and they still choose to support criminals.

These are the same people who would enslave you without batting an eyelash. Scum of the earth.
