sucks we are still in a 2 party system, the people who sit in the middle of the extreme spectrum never get heard.

Middle? Well we have far right and we have center right. There is no left or middle anymore.

just finished watching the 3rd party debate: better by far than the 3 duopoly debates.

confirmed my belief that if you vote for an R or D you can't believe in, you waste your vote.

Love Gary Johnson.

Between him and green chile, the only two good things New Mexico has ever produced.

If you want to change the system, vote for the 3rd party candidate - or if they're not on your ballot then don't vote at all.

Just makes me glad I voted for Rocky Anderson. I can't believe that we just had three debates from the two parties and didn't hear one word about climate change, drone strikes, the patriot act, the influence of PACS and/or money buying our country. Rocky did a great job tonight. I hope somebody was listening.

I've been struggling, because I still do feel that 3rd party is throwing away a vote, but at the same time, I want to vote my conscience, I want to give my vote to somebody I believe in, no matter how insignificant that may be.

Forget third party. Just vote for Romney, and you're vote is full of win.

His Mormon can fulfill that need you have to be off the grid.

Yeah. They both quickly said, "I like them," and moved on.

Why more people aren't discussing this is beyond me. If everyone would pull their head out of their ass, maybe a guy like Gary Johnson could have a chance at actually winning.

Btw...i have only watched the first 25 minutes. Worth every second of my time!!

I've decided to vote for Gary. While I may not agree with all his ideas, I'm tired of the 2 party system and until more people start voting against the 2 parties the system will remain the same. It has to start somewhere.

My hope is that enough people vote 3rd party this round and it gains momentum till the 2016 election such that they may actually have a chance.

we have to break the insanity: stop doing the same thing and expecting different results.

if not now, when? if not you, who?

Do you believe the winner should get 270 electoral votes?

In 1992 Ross Perot got 19% of the vote, and ZERO electoral votes. Four years later he got 8% of the vote. His 1992 votes may have cost George H.W. Bush re-election. In the end though didn't change a thing in the two party system. Maybe if more states went to selecting electoral college votes by congressional district like Nebraska and Maine, rather than winner take all, third parties could at least be a little more relevant.

Here is Jimmy Kimmel on the 3rd party debate.
