Default "Officially official" 2012 Broncos Haiku Thread

We haven't done this in a while, let's see how it goes.

Now, before any dufus disrespects the art of Haiku, the basic pentameter is 5-7-5. So, screw with that at your own risk.

So, we'll start with the Chargers game, but certainly any of the Broncos topics for 2012 are fair game.

GO!

They have dug big holes,
These Broncos of twenty-twelve;
At last they climbed out.

In honor of Mock, I will give you my version of Mock's attempts on every haiku thread:

He was a kid they called Blade!
It was a nickname that should have stuck, if Shanahan wasn't so awful!
The greatest nickname ever made!
Ever more! Ever more!

WAY too accurate on the meter! I tried - really tried - to explain the concept of haiku to Mock. He wasn't having any of it. I should have kept the REP I got for it! It was classic!

Rest in peace, you eccentric bastard!

GO!
really though english Haiku doesn't have to stick to that. Still staying close to it is important. What I think is more important is the historically seasonal reference in the poem. Or as its called the Kigo.
