Default Romeny's own voting machines in Ohio

http://www.allvoices.com/contributed...ref_map=%5B%5D

Romney family buys voting machines through Bain Capital investment

Tagg Romney, the son of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, has purchased electronic voting machines that will be used in the 2012 elections in Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington and Colorado.

"Late last month, Gerry Bello and Bob Fitrakis at FreePress.org broke the story of the Mitt Romney/Bain Capital investment team involved in H.I.G. Capital which, in July of 2011, completed a "strategic investment" to take over a fair share of the Austin-based e-voting machine company Hart Intercivic," according to independent journalist Brad Friedman.

But Friedman is not the only one to discover the connection between the Romney family, Bain Capital, and ownership of voting machines.

Truth out reports:

"Through a closely held equity fund called Solamere, Mitt Romney and his wife, son and brother are major investors in an investment firm called H.I.G. Capital. H.I.G. in turn holds a majority share and three out of five board members in Hart Intercivic, a company that owns the notoriously faulty electronic voting machines that will count the ballots in swing state Ohio November 7. Hart machines will also be used elsewhere in the United States.

In other words, a candidate for the presidency of the United States, and his brother, wife and son, have a straight-line financial interest in the voting machines that could decide this fall's election. These machines cannot be monitored by the public. But they will help decide who "owns" the White House."

Both The Nation and New York Times confirm the connection between the Romney family, Solamere and the Bain Capital investment in the voting machine company, Hart Intercivic, whose board of directors serve H.I.G. Capital.

Oh god, why they will stop at nothing to win this election. There are no paper trails on these machines either.. God I hate these bastards. You can't win, cheat!!

Aren't Republican in this forum at least a little concerned that their party can only win by surpressing the vote of the poor and minorites, making it legal for corporations to donate Millions of dollars to canidates and that they might try to rig the vote in Ohio.

Isn't this disturbing at all to you guys? Or is it just win at all cost?

Damn! I just have to salute Romney. He is the consummate shyster. A credit to vulture capitalists everywhere.

We've seen this movie before.

When the Bush Crime Family did the same thing in 2000 and 2004, the response from the repukes on this board was "get over it!"

What would happen if Obama and Clinton started buying voting machines in all the swing states. This is horrible and I bet nothing will be done about it.

I'm sure these machines will close the gap in Washington and hand the Left Coast to daddy!

ONWARD, UPWARD.

*Ether gas will be used against local voting officials who inspect the booths to ensure proper and fair operation.

Must be true. You can't make this up.

Any people who allows their quote democratic process to be rigged in this way deserves the horrible future that awaits them.

Good. Maybe they'll rig those machines so that people can only vote once and dead people can't vote.

Gotta love these baseless accusations of voter fraud from supporters of the same party that's engaged in actual fraud as we speak.

Wonder what un-named party Hudsom Hallum is from....

Still not an example of "engaged in actual fraud right now as we speak."

Just one of many examples of actual cheating going on right now...

Republican operatives caught throwing away Democratic voter registration forms

Colin Small, confirmed GOP voter fraudster

A Republican funded voter registration operation in Harrisonburg, VA was found to be throwing away voter registration forms of people who did not identify themselves as Republicans.

GOP employee Colin Small, 31, was arrested by police after multiple witnesses watched him throw away voter registration forms in a dumpster. Those forms were recovered and given to police. The Republican party is denying any involvement or responsibility for the actions of their surrogate to whom they paid a salary.

Small was originally hired by Strategic Allied Consulting, a known right-wing front that has been previously connected to cases of voter fraud around the nation.

It is a felony in Virginia to accept a voter registration form while not turning it in. Colin Small has been charged with obstructing justice, and with destroying voter registration applications.

A Leon County judge is calling on police to track down the self-described ‘Queen of Absentee Ballots’ so she can testify in a lawsuit contesting the results of the House District 107 primary.
By Toluse Olorunnipa
Herald/Times Tallahassee Bureau

TALLAHASSEE -- The self-described “Queen of Absentee Ballots,” has gone missing in the middle of a civil trial that could determine the ultimate victor in a race for District 107 in the Florida House.

On Tuesday, a Leon County judge approved an order calling on police to track down Noucelie Josna and haul her into court.

“This is a pickup order,” said J.C. Planas, an attorney for Rep. John Patrick Julien, D-North Miami. Julien is challenging the results of the August primary against Rep. Barbara Watson, D-Miami Gardens, who won the razor-thin election by 13 votes in a district that is dominated by Haitian-Americans.

Josna — and the business card listing her as royalty in the realm of absentee ballots — have become central figures in the case between Julien and Watson.

In his lawsuit, Julien alleges that Josna and a woman named Carline Paul gathered several fraudulent absentee ballots from nursing homes and apartments. Josna has not responded to a court-ordered subpoena and a private investigator hired by Julien has not been able to track her down.

On Tuesday, Judge Charles Francis reviewed more than 150 absentee ballots from two contested precincts in the race and found six of them to be invalid.

“Those signatures don’t match up at all,” Francis said while looking at one ballot.

MADISON — A former Oshkosh woman has been convicted of two felonies for election fraud and falsification of nomination papers.

Yadira Colon was convicted Monday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court and sentenced to 20 days in jail and one year on probation.

She was charged after authorities began investigating allegations of irregularities on nomination papers filed during the 2008 election of then-state Rep. Pedro Colon.

Pedro Colon was not charged. He is now a Milwaukee County judge and is not related to Yadira Colon.

Yadira Colon forged signatures on nomination papers for Pedro Colon, and registered to vote under a Milwaukee address when she actually lived in Oshkosh. She voted via absentee ballot in Milwaukee for the 2008 primary.

Yadira Colon now lives in Florida.

Let's play name that party.... Why didn't the AP article, tell us that she was a longtime democrat....

Fraud in NJ

Quote:
An Essex County campaign worker was convicted today of absentee ballot fraud that occurred during the 2007 election of state Sen. Teresa Ruiz.

John Fernandez, 61, of Belleville, was found guilty of election fraud following a two-week trial. The jury found Fernandez guilty of charges of conspiracy (2nd degree), election fraud (2nd degree), absentee ballot fraud (3rd degree), tampering with public records or information (3rd degree), and forgery (4th degree).

The Mercer County jury found that Fernandez, who works for the Essex County Department of Economic Development, fraudulently tampered with documentation for absentee ballots in Ruiz's Nov. 6, 2007 general election, submitting ballots on behalf of voters who never received the ballots or had an opportunity to cast their votes.

Fernandez was charged in 2009 along with several other defendants, including Ruiz's husband, Essex County Freeholder Samuel Gonzalez

Looks like the democrats are playing dirty. In other words, the usual election time actions by the democrats. But oh, voter ID is about race and not cheating

Coming from a supporter of a party whose last president seized power in a judicial coup and through massive, premeditated voter fraud on multiple fronts, this is hilarious!

I am for voter ID laws... but it's ridiculous to only bring up the issue once every four years, and right before an election. Proper, fair, and standard voter ID laws should be implemented with enough lead time to allow citizens to prepare. Anything less is political shenanigans.

And no candidate or member of a candidate's family should have any financial stake or controlling authority over voter machines and/or their production. This is common sense, and not a left/right, republican/democrat issue. The opportunity for abuse is too great.
