Started on behalf of Tom Brady, Gronkowski, Billichek, Welker, and New England fans everywhere.
At least he can stop the ru... oh wait. He would meet the RB in the hole at the LOS and they would run him over and gain 5 yards. Get this guy off the field and off the team. He is the weakest link and makes the whole defense worse. |

I second this, try irving in there, he cannot possibly be any worse, hell give steven johnson a try. Us fans have been saying this since they re-signed him but apparently mays has naked pictures of JDR and fox butt plugging.

I hate him. I hate him more than any player in the league. I'm 5'10 180 and if I ever meet him in the street I'll run his ass over. And if he comes at me with a knife I'll powerwalk away from him and have no fear because he couldn't catch me. Because I can.
Only thing that would make me fear Joe Mays is if I put on a Broncos uniform and pretended to be a defensive teammate. |

He should be inactive with KM next week. Another great personnel move by mCd.

So glad we drafted a QB to sit on the bench for 3-4 years instead of a LB in round 2.

I'd honestly love to sit down with Del Rio and Fox and have them explain what it is they think he adds to the team. I just don't see how anyone can watch him and think he's anything other than absolutely worthless.
That 3rd and 14 late in the first half was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Woodhead was the checkdown option for Brady and Mays has him in man coverage. All Mays has to do is keep the play in front of him and make a tackle before it can go for a first down. For reasons unknown he decided to run forward towards Woodhead, who obviously does what any sane running back would do in that situation and runs by Mays and is then wide open for a big gain. No coincidence at all that our best defensive performance this year came when this absolute waste of a jersey was suspended. Easily the worst starter on our team, it's truly embarrassing that he's on the field on anything other than short yardage situations. |

And to think he was kind of close to taking out Von Miller early in the game.

Hopefully Goodell thinks his collision with Miller was unnecessary and suspends him again
I can only hope |

Hahaha so funny. I've never once thought he was a good LB and have said many times over and over how bad he sucks, even commenting on how stupid the commentators are when they say he's a good MLB. Yet there have been guys on this forum claiming he's a solid LB.
I think it has to be unanimous now, Mays sucks. He doesn't do anything well. Physical yes, instincts are not even NFL level if you ask me. And no, we can't put Irving in there either. He's JUST AS BAD. This is why I have said it's our best bet late in the season to get DJ into the middle when he comes back. For all those saying we don't need him, you just saw why we do. Is DJ an elite LB, no. Is he way better then Mays and Irving, Yes. |

It is strange how Fox and Del Rio thought their best option in the middle this year was Joe Mays backed up by Nate Irving. These guys are defensive-minded coaches, and should know better.
And I don't want to hear any "hindsight is 20-20" crap -- many of us on this board have been saying the same thing for two years now. DeMeco Ryans could've been had for a 3rd-round pick this off-season.... sigh.... /rant |

Its really sad that we know more about our players than the coaches
The only game we played well is the one when he was not there.. |

Who was it that ran away from him on one of those long third down conversions after a short pass?
(Might've been Woodhead.) That was awful. |
