I hope he has Michael Bay and James Cameron are doing it. That way every time Tebow runs into someone massive explosions happen. That would be a bad ass film. Pats players would be scared

Relegated to punt protector, gimmick play qb, and now running back!

Watching the SD game and all the audibles that Manning did leaves me to believe that Tebow will never be able to be a "normal" QB in the NFL. If a team is to stop his runs, he is in deep sheat as it was stated he never called an audible last season. I love the leadership we have at QB. Tebow has some but the talent Manning brings with it is unbelievable. Elway-esque!

Tebow wasn't the whole problem but he wasn't a player that could mass weaknesses. I doubt there has ever been as big of a change at QB from Tebow to Manning in the passing department.

Last Monday's second-half performance just validates the concept that when you have the opportunity to acquire one of the best players (at his position) who has ever laced 'em up, you do it. And I'm very glad Elway did.

McDaniels never fixed Shanahan's mess. He was too concerned about QBs. Fox hasn't fixed McDaniels mess. He was too concerned about QBs. Elway hasn't fixed this this cluster-**** that we call a secondary.

Denver Broncos. Making Josh McDaniels look good.

Edited to note: Of course McDipshiit was a problem.
He was some of the problem.

Asked about the Jets’ two backup quarterbacks, Tebow and Greg McElroy, Slauson said the Jets really only have one other quarterback.

“We have Greg . . . and we have an athlete,” Slauson said.

According to the Daily News story, there is no quarterback controversy with the Jets because there is no one in the Jets’ locker room who believes Tebow deserves to start.

“Hell, no!” one starter said. “You got to keep defenses honest. You just can’t line up in the Wildcat all the time. That won’t work.”

Said another teammate, “We can’t win running that sh–.”

I see Tebow starting at this point as a win-win for Rex Ryan. As long as he's willing to Say Sanchez had his shot in NY and is finished.

For one, why trade for someone you don't want to use? so the Pat's didn't pick him up? If you start him and he makes media magic like he did last year, your fans and owners are happy and you stay employed for making the moves (the trade and the starting QB change). If he is terrible, you attempted to save your season with the guy who did it for the Broncos the year previous but he just couldn't do it. This removes Tebow-mania from being front and center going into next season with a New Non-Sanchez QB. Hopefully the owner giving him a "last shot" with a new QB direction.

He's just gotta accept that Sanchez ain't the guy. If he thinks he is, bummer for Rex.

You got half the team saying he's complete garbage, and someone actually says starting him is a win win?

I have been proved wrong as well. I expected him to progress at least a little bit, but he just keeps throwing the same type of passes he has his whole career, no change, no progression.

At this point in his mid-twenties and he still can't adjust his technique, I think he needs to switch positions if he is going to stay in the nfl.

At this point the only people who think he is a qb are the Tebow cultists and those who don't understand professional football

Everyone, including his own teammates, understand what he is and more importantly what he is not

This latest news is just another side of the "little known Tebow effect"
