Bah..calling anyone a racist anymore is trival. To the point that the word has lost meaning as a serious charge. Everyone is racist. It just depends on how racist your are. Are you the kind of racist that says **** to yourself at traffic signals, or are you the kind of racist that uses said poor judgement in your hiring practices....one is bad in the sense that's it's illogical and the other is worse.

Couldn't help but laugh last night as Hannity & company were doing their best to spin this video into something.

Especially when they did the side-by-side video of POTUS speaking. I could barely discern any difference in the way he spoke. Made for some great comedic relief though.

While the speech was already covered by the Associated Press, CNN, and other major media in 2007 - it's considered "news" because Drudge, Fox News, and Breitbart hadn't heard about it until yesterday.

So Carlson is trying to make a speech that was in part about African-Americans taking "more individual responsibility to strengthen our families" into a leftist rant.

Yes, Obama defended government programs - to help young mothers with infants, for example - but the speech's blend of conservative goals and liberal policies is almost Obama's centrist brand. Yes, he implied that in many inner cities there is a constant quiet riot and that the authorities tolerate things there they wouldn't elsewhere (sounds like Giuliani to me). He also implied that the Feds did not respond to Katrina with sufficient urgency in part because the people affected the most were black and powerless. Isn't that obviously true? If Katrina had hit Georgetown, or San Francisco, do you think residents would be on their roofs begging for federal help for days? Yes, in black audinces his cadence shifts a little. So ****ing what?

The Stafford Act was waived after Katrina. Obama voted AGAINST waving it.

I do not get it. If Obama as the Republicans keep reminding us was going to a church with a radical Christian pastor. Wouldn't that make him a Christian? Doesn't that take away their talking point he is a Muslim? Also, He cannot be a fascist, communist and a socialist.... they need to pick one arguement and stick with it.

[T]his isn't really a story about Barack Obama. It's about the media. The Caller's one of many conservative media organizations dedicated to the principle that the media, by failing to worry Obama over his panders and biography, did not "vet" him. It doesn't matter if the press covered an Obama story. They didn't cover it enough.

Last week's Caller blockbuster told readers that the young Eric Holder had participated in a black student association's occupation of a vacated ROTC center, and it didn't matter that many profiles of Holder had covered this -- they didn't cover it enough. We know this, because voters did not get worried about it. This story hasn't been reheated. The media just used a microwave, when conservatives know they should have put it in the middle of a nuclear reactor.
