Boom. And if there were any doubt, PA is now officially Obama's.

The law will go into effect next year.

- State giving out free IDs
- State not changing election laws in an election year
- State not trying to steal an election

Aren't you outrageously outraged that the law will go into effect next year?

Not at all. I don't agree with it, but the stipulation set forth by the court was that IDs needed to be free, available and not a hassle to obtain. Simple enough if they do it. I think the majority of people had a problem with this law because it was passed at the last minute in an election year, in an obvious attempt to steal 20 electoral votes from a state that had no chance of going for Romney.

Mississippi also just halted the voter ID law and has said that there won't be a requirement this election.

They say they want more information concerning the reasons for the law. So no ID needed.

I live in PA and I don't think this really will change the outcome here but it might!

And who says you can't try and buy your way to the Presidency?

Voter ID law is a great idea to start to help curb illegal voters. The next process to change is aquiring the DL to get the damn thing in the first place. that's where the real fraud is happening. I agree that they need to be paid for in taxes to eliminate any kind of poll and I also agree that changing election law in the year of an election is bull****. So I think this is a good decision by the court.

HAHAHA I think it has been proven the only voter fraud committed in this election has been by the Republicans, In Florida, Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio.

Correct.

Amazing how the average rightard can just turn a blind eye to this.

These half-wits are the poster children for the "post-truth" age.

Oooops!

Republican Judge Blocks Pennsylvania Photo ID Law

The lower court judge who initially upheld the state’s new Photo ID Law in August, has blocked implementation of Pennsylvania’s controversial Voter Photo ID Law for the November 6th General Election. In his much-anticipated decision, Commonwealth Judge Robert Simpson, issued an injunction against enforcement of the law.

Sounds reasonable to me as long as the law goes into effect.

I agree, if you need to have a state ID then they need to be super easy to get and they need to be free. In fact if an elderly woman walks in and needs an ID it should be up to the state to get it for this person. She should not have to go around from agency to agency and get all the forms required. She walks in and they get it for her and then mail it to her if they cannot produce it.

All this is stupid anyway because there are no real cases of voter fraud like this. Only what the Republicans are doing by tearing up Democratic vote registration slips. FACT!
