Default Interesting tidbits from Patriot stomping of Bills...

So obviously there is a chink or huge chunk missing in their armor from their defense as a whole.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...-bills-week-4/

Pass Rush Denied

Despite picking up the first three sacks registered against the Bills this season, the Patriots’ pass rush was largely ineffective. Rookie DE Chandler Jones (-1.3 pass rush) has had an outstanding start to his career, but he was largely held in check by fellow rookie, offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. On the inside, DTs Kyle Love and Vince Wilfork were shut out in the pressure department, though Wilfork did bat a pass that led to a Jerod Mayo interception.

The final score ended in their favor, but New England cannot be pleased with their pass defense, particularly the lack of pressure up front. Fitzpatrick sat in a comfortable pocket for much of the game, and if it wasn’t for some ill-advised decisions and throws on his part, the Patriots could have surrendered more than the 28 points they did.

And also....

- The Patriots rushed 27 times for 181 yards to the left of center.

I know that they scored a ton and Gronk will be a problem.. why not just put Champ on him?
But I have good thoughts about this game

Blitz every down from Gronk's side so he has to stay in and block.

- The Bills sent only one blitz on Brady’s 38 drop-backs. The result was a 25-yard touchdown to WR Brandon Lloyd.
We were blitzing a ****load last week. We won't be able to do that this week.

This is huge. If Manning can pick the Pats defense apart early, the team can start fast, and if our defense can get off of the field a couple of times on 3rd down early in the game I really like Denver's chances. Should be interesting. The Pats defense has really struggled this year.

This one won't even be close. 47-20. Doesnt matter what they did last week, no one adjusts on defense from game to game like Belichick. Not to mention his entire career was an effort to stop Manning. He knows how to get in Manning's head.

I think that also turns Gronk into a wide-open hot route if he lets the corner-blitz go past him. Brady would eat that up all day.

Well I'd say Manning of late has been in his head. Manning's record has been good of late against him. Regardless different team and scenerios.

Basically that quick pass to the TE we saw the Broncos useto convert on third down against the raiders. Not a good scheme to be running against Brady lol.

Gotta control the ball and keep them off the field.
