****in story is a few days old, for ****'s sakes. Got the FBI involved now. Guess it's only voter fraud when you can accuse Republicans, right?
Florida Republican Party leader receives hoax letter; FBI investigates Bogus letters being sent to Florida voters TAMPA, Fla. - The FBI is joining an investigation into bogus letters sent to many Florida residents, including the Republican Party of Florida chairman, that raise questions about their eligibility to vote. FBI officials said Wednesday the FBI will focus on letters received by voters in 18 counties in central and southwest Florida. According to the Republican Party of Florida, Chairman Lenny Curry received one of the fake letters on Tuesday. "This type of activity is not only disgusting, it is criminal, and must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law," Curry said in a release. "I call on Florida Democrats to join me in condemning this false letter writing campaign that appears to target likely voters in Florida, and help RPOF get the word out about this false campaign." Local 6 first reported the bogus letter scam on Monday, which claim to be from county supervisors of elections but are postmarked from Seattle. They raise questions about the voter's citizenship and appear intended to intimidate people. The FBI says voters who get a letter should contact their supervisor of elections and then keep the letter for the FBI. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is also investigating. http://www.clickorlando.com/news/Flo...z/-/index.html |

The narrative by the liberals is voter fraud is just isolated events and only worthy to report when republicans are somehow involved. That is their story and that is what they will stick with despite the facts.

Not really. The "narrative " is that in person voter fraud almost never happens so disenfranchising voters without ID doesn't make sense. This story has nothing to do with in person fraud or voter ID.

Romney Blimp Crashes in Florida
What is God telling the Vulture Capitalist? ![]() Link Oh, the humanity: A blimp displaying Romney's smiling face crash-landed in a field in Florida. The police said strong winds forced the dirigible down on Sunday evening. According to the Sun Sentinel, the two people onboard the 160-foot airship were unhurt. The craft that read "America Needs Romney," couldn't handle the pressure and the stress. About five miles short of the destination, the wind forced the aircraft down near a housing development. Teri Balter, who witnessed the crash told NBC Miami, "The blimp was hovering and floating backwards. It looked like it was actually coming down." She added, "I thought boy, Romney really wants us to vote for him." God works in mysterious ways. |

Sorry I haven't kept up with Florida the last few weeks but one thing I do know is that Republicans have no leg to stand on when it comes to mischievous play in Florida.

Therefore, you have absolutely no credibility here. Further, the economy was in free fall when Obama took office - thanks to the GOP crooks you support. Had Bush been allowed to serve a third term, and had the court-appointed monkey "stayed the course," we'd all be living in tent cities right now. |

Specifically, they tie it into the KKK narrative that is pulled out on cue to frighten and humiliate large numbers of people into group hysteria.

1 - The story appears to be just over 27 hours old not a few days. It also appears to be developing with the number of counties expanding by 10 just today.
2 - This is voter intimidation and should be punished and prosecuted to the fullest. 3 - Sounds like some donor roll was hacked or stolen and those are the people receiving the letters, though some of the reports from some FLA media sources indicate that there isn't yet a pattern, though half to more than half of the letters reported have been received by Republicans. 4 - Why do you assume liberals don't care about voter intimidation and fraud when its against Republicans? It matters no matter who is doing it. Thats an asinine assumption. It may be premature at this point to start indicating that its a democrat based group to be doing this. This type of thing sounds more like a scam an anarchist group or like a letter form of fishing or spamming... though none of the articles make it clear whether the voter information card was provided or where it should be sent. I understand that the first instinct, which may be correct, is to point to your most visible opponent... but regardless of who is responsible its got to be some a-holes on the fringe of either the party or society. |

Always extreme huh epic? Pretty hard for you to take a more logical well rounded position... prefer the jump over that step into the obscurity of the remotely plausible.

Regardless voter fraud and suppression happen by people who align themselves with both parties. Usually the more extreme are those who are much more to the fringes of either party. But occasionally you get one like Patrick Moran (a Dem and congressman's son), and its absolutely wrong. |

Bush cheerleaders complaining about voter fraud by Democrats is like bank robbers complaining about shoplifters.

The GOP has a long track record when it comes to employing the sort of fraud described in your article.
When the repukes employed this same kind of fraud in order to install GeeDubya in the WH, and when GeeDubya's opponents protested, the response from the right was "get over it." So excuse me if I don't take your "outrage" too seriously. |
