Why did Decker slide?
Answer: scared? DT catch? Can you catch the ball and make it count with the heel instead of the toe? Kuper and DJ cant come back soon enough, get healthy Kup! |

Concerning DJ, what we have seen from DJ is because he was on the juice? If so, he wasn't a Merriman type cheater. What do we get with him once he comes back rusty and not cheating?
Decker, I guess the rules state you are down once you slide. Time saver? About 10 minutes left. Of course he decided to waste time on the last punt and run it out to lose 5 seconds and 6 yards. |

I'm more concerned with the drops... I'm sure Manning is as well... I thought Manning threw the tipped ball perfectly to Decker... He should have caught it... I know it was in traffic...but... you have to have those plays. All that said... it will take time to come together as a group... week by week they are getting more cohesive... its a marathon... and I like the broncos chances!

I've also mentioned a lack of speed on offense and the deep ball is nonexistent. |

Ed was talking on the radio that Denver is lacking a player to attack the middle of the field. Maybe we need to look to the street at a guy like Shockey or some other WR's. I think we are that type of player that can soften the middle of the field to getting a more effective offense. Till then I think teams will keep the pressure up on our guys outside.

is DJ allowed into Dove Valley to workout and practice during his suspension, or does the NFL mandate that he has to stay away from everything until the suspension is served? if the latter, then he won't be ready to play immediately once the suspension is over.

Anyone else feel like our tight ends just can't get open? Almost all of PMs INTs or near INTs were thrown to TEs.

So where are the people crying about Denver not paying Bunkley?

It was good to see Hillman get some game reps. We will need him soon, especially if the ribs injury to McGahee is more serious.

Skill positions need lots of upgrading period. I just wish Elway and Fox would agree too.

Wish they would have given him some more opportunities personally. He looked to be the change of pace type back we deserately need right now. Sitting him on the Bench behind Moreno won't help him get any better. Glad they finally gave him a shot. Hope he gets a few more looks seeing how McGahee looks to be a no go against the Raiders with his Rib injury.

In 2008 Manning had surgery to remove a bursa sac from his left knee. He sat out all of preseason and came back looking pretty rusty. The Colts were 3 and 4 at the midway point of the season. Things clicked after that and they rattled off 9 straight wins.
What does that mean? Probably nothing. But maybe it offers a glimmer of hope that things will get better. |
