Obama's New Big Lie

I can only hope this information comes out officially through leaks and whatnot but I will say this. This is uneffingbelieveable.

Obama has "ordered" that security at US Embassies overseas has been increased.

I have a friend of many years whose husband is in the USAF who is currently stationed overseas in a US Embassy. He says not only did he not know that there were attacks until my friend mentioned it to him, BUT also that there has been no increase in security.

Barack Obama is a lying two legged POS.

That's all I have to say.

It might take more than a day to facilitate and deploy security.

So are you suggesting that he lied about ordering the increase in security? Why on earth would he lie about that? Why? Why? It's something that could easily be double checked.

Do you even have quotes to establish that Obama made such an order?

Just curious, does it upset you to the same degree when Romney lies? (Such as blaming the Whitehouse for the embassy's tweet before the uprising yesterday).

True - they're working on another platoon of carrier pigeons. It is perfectly understandable that these embassies would be left vulnerable.

He SAID he made the order, and any rational person would think he did so:

"I have directed my administration to provide all necessary resources to support the security of our personnel in Libya, and to increase security at our diplomatic posts around the globe," President Barack Obama said in a statement issued Wednesday morning in response to the attack.

Just because your ONE buddy hasn't seen an increase in security doesn't mean that Obama is a liar. You've given him less time than it takes to fly a plane to Asia.

In any case, why would Obama lie about such a thing? Why wouldn't he just deploy more security? And if there was a lack of resources, why wouldn't he shift the blame to Congress? I'm just not seeing the upside of Obama lying--if he was too lie so transparently there would HAVE to be a huge upside to doing so--I'm not even see a small upside.

I'm sure Obama lies sometimes, but this probably is NOT one of them. Again, do Romney's lies bother you? Were you offended that Romney politicized a foreign tragedy before we even knew Americans were dead?

I'm guessing you already hate Obama, and you aren't willing to give him the benefit of the doubt--which you easily extend to an empty suit like Romney. Here's to your integrity.

Your first link is a tabloid rag and even it specifically mentions that the U.S. had warned of potential security risks posed by 9/11.

Your second link is about how Obama doesn't go to daily security meetings. He doesn't because he gets the security info in writing the night before, writes up his questions, and then send them off for answers while his predecessor was asleep.

This is the same way that Clinton handled his daily security updates, FYI. Bush changed it because he didn't want to read as much. So I guess we've got yet another confirmation that to the right wingers illiteracy = winning.
