Default Peter King pick: Broncos 33 Atlanta 24

Denver Broncos (1-0) at Atlanta Falcons (1-0)
Shootouts are fun, especially when two quarterback automatons are competing. Drafted 10 years apart, Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan are as much alike as any two quarterbacks playing today -- in terms of study, work habits and anal-retentiveness. And production, when Ryan's on. If these teams had played Week 1, I might have picked a different outcome. But with one of the league's best corners, Brent Grimes, lost to Atlanta for the season with an Achilles injury, I can't see Denver being held down.

Denver 33 Atlanta 24

Sounds about right, really. I'd probably expect the whole thing to be a littttttttttle less high scoring, personally, but whatever works.

More importantly it bumps a kid named Chris Owens into the nickel... and he ****ing SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKS. We'll have matchups to ABUSE when we pop Decker/Thomas/even Willis into the slot for some plays.

What about Stokes going to go off on him?

Sure, but did he even finish last week? He seemed to look good in the first quarter and tail off quickly.

Either way, Owens would be my target. Falcons have been actively trying to replace him for quite some time

I think Peyton may just score 33 points against Ben Grime's replacement alone.

Though having Peter King pick a team to win is not necessarily a good thing. Didn't he also predict the Dolphins would go tot the Super Bowl the year that they went 1-15?

Stokely.

Stokely will emerge this game.

You should link where anyone claimed he plays there "all the time"

While you're doing that, tuck your string... it's bright red and disgusting.

None of those WRs have played in the slot at all this season, it has been strictly Tamme and Stokley
