I saw that. Typical of the way the franchise is now; Control everything. Silence all dissenters.

My favorite part:
Of all the fans the Chiefs could have riled up, Wright was probably not the best choice. With more than 123,500 Twitter followers -- compared to the Chiefs' 107,600 -- he has a larger audience than the team. Read more: http://www.kshb.com/dpp/sports/footb...#ixzz26HiPdNKm |

How bad must it be being a Chiefs' fan? The Broncos have lacked SB success the last 12 years but almost eveyr year in those 12 years they have been better than K.C.
They have NOTHING!!! Losers!!!! REDNECKS!!!!! oops got a little carried away there. |

Feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong. Starting next year, don't all the teams have to spend most of the salary cap? Like 98%, or something like that?

Well even when the Broncos are F'ing up left and right (i.e. the McD era), you know the organization is legitimately attempting to get better and get the right pieces in place. You just can't say the same when you look at the Chiefs.

To be fair the Broncos are kind of like this as well. They wouldn't be dumb enough to tell someone to "get a clue", though a suspect this is the work of some newbie staffer.

Stop being so nice. You're only encouraging them. Fortunately most of them are illiterate and have no idea what those funny scribblings mean so , hopefully, you didn't do too much damage.

I think you are correct, that is part of the new CBA. However, I'm totally guessing here but I doubt it's 98%. I'm thinking there's more wiggle room than that. I'm guessing more like 80% of the cap or somewhere in there?

smart apology by kc twitter idiot. It makes it clear that it was the response of one individual and does not represent the entire franchises attitude. That being said, I'd still fire his butt.

Great Coogly Moogly KFC! Of course it is hard to get KFC fans to sign up for twitter accounts when they wait until the 4th quarter to put the spot on their scoreboard. There are usually only the maint crew left in the stadium and they aren't even allowed to watch the game. Plus the whole thing where KFC fans would have to borrow their sisters PC's to get access to twitter. |

With that said, they are building the team the right way. probably have the best farm system in the last 10 years, in all of baseball. Just need some starting pitching. Retaining Guthrie should be key Dayton Moore is much more likely to bring a World Series to KC, then Scott Pioli is to bring the Lombardi Trophy |

It's sad that the Royals have the best minor league team and the worst major league team. |
