How bad must it be being a Chiefs' fan? The Broncos have lacked SB success the last 12 years but almost eveyr year in those 12 years they have been better than K.C.

My uncLe is an Econ professor at KU, and he lives in Overland Park... Which is actually a really nice place. He constantly complains about the lack of culture in KC, though.

Well even when the Broncos are F'ing up left and right (i.e. the McD era), you know the organization is legitimately attempting to get better and get the right pieces in place. You just can't say the same when you look at the Chiefs.

To be fair the Broncos are kind of like this as well. They wouldn't be dumb enough to tell someone to "get a clue", though a suspect this is the work of some newbie staffer.

I think you are correct, that is part of the new CBA. However, I'm totally guessing here but I doubt it's 98%. I'm thinking there's more wiggle room than that. I'm guessing more like 80% of the cap or somewhere in there?

The Royals are not cheap. The Royals don't even have money. It's understandable why the Royals suck. MLB is just a terribly ran league.
The Yankees have somewhere around $115 million more dollars in their cap than the Royals.

Of course it is hard to get KFC fans to sign up for twitter accounts when they wait until the 4th quarter to put the spot on their scoreboard. There are usually only the maint crew left in the stadium and they aren't even allowed to watch the game.

Plus the whole thing where KFC fans would have to borrow their sisters PC's to get access to twitter.

I say this as a diehard Royals fan.. David Glass is one of the cheapest owners in all of sports.

With that said, they are building the team the right way. probably have the best farm system in the last 10 years, in all of baseball. Just need some starting pitching. Retaining Guthrie should be key

Dayton Moore is much more likely to bring a World Series to KC, then Scott Pioli is to bring the Lombardi Trophy

While true, the Royals have always developed good players. Carlos Beltran and Zach Grienke to name a few. They just can't pay them. It's like the Royals are the minor league team for the rest of the MLB.

It's sad that the Royals have the best minor league team and the worst major league team.
