Jebures, you did awesome!!!

Bengals Draft

(17) Quinton Coples -- 2nd String LDE for the Jets -- I bet he will supplant Devito at some point in time at RDE and start.

(21) Cordy Glenn -- Starting LT for the Bills.

(34) Lamar Miller -- 3DRB / KR for the Miami Dolphins.

(66) Casey Heyward -- Nickel Corner for Packers.

(193) Jermaine Kearse -- Practice Squad for Seahawks.

UDFA

Darrell Scott, RB -- Free Agent (released by Cowboys)
Dorian Graham, WR -- Free Agent (released by Ravens)
J.R. Sweezy, DT -- Starting @ RG for Seahawks (Converted to OG)
Joe Holland, OLB -- Free Agent (released by 49ers)
Shawn Powell, P -- Free Agent (released by Bills, recently tried out by NYJ)

Pretty ****ty UDFA class, highlighted by Sweezy being a boss and starting at RG. Coples will eventually start, Glenn is already starting at LT, Miller is Miami's 3DRB behind Bush and Thomas, as well as one of their KR. Heyward is playing nickel CB for the Packers and Kearse is on the Seahawks PS.

Drafted players weren't a problem, but ultimately Glenn fell for value and Kearse went undrafted, IIRC.

Here's who I picked...

1.) Stephen Hill, Starting Wide Receiver for the Jets.

2.) LaMichael James, 4th on the depth chart for the 49ers.

3.) Marcus Forston, 3rd DT on the Patriots Depth Chart.

4.) Asa Jackson, 3rd right CB on the Ravens Depth Chart.

5.) Brian Linthicum, injured and waived by the Jets,

6.) Winston Guy Jr., 3rd Strong Safety on depth chart for Seattle.

7.) Kourtnei Brown, cut by the 49ers.

At this point, this draft sucks.

Nice thread, Jebures -- fun to get some immediate feedback on how we did as drafters.

1-24 (24): Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina - starting CB for the Bills, looks like a stud by all reports
3-24 (88): Brandon Brooks, OG, Miami (OH) - made 53-man roster for Texans, but probably won't start season opener. Solid pick so far, with lots of upside
4-02 (100): Brock Osweiler, QB, Arizona State - so far, so good with the Broncos (but the jury's still out)
4-24 (122): Josh Chapman, DT, Alabama - on IR for the Colts, not sure how this pick will pan out
5-03 (139): Nick Toon, WR, Wisconsin - also on IR for the Saints (not a good sign, given his injury history)
5-24 (160): Kellen Moore, QB, Boise State - made 53-man roster with the Lions, looked good doing it
5-31 (167): Miles Burris, OLB, San Diego State - made 53-man roster, will start for the Faiders on Sunday
7-21 (231): Keith Tandy, CB, West Virginia - made 53-man roster for Bucs
7-24 (234): Danny Coale, WR, Virginia Tech - cut by Cowboys, but put on their practice squad
7-33 (243): Sammy Brown, OLB, Houston - cut by Rams, but picked up and put on 53-man roster by Dolphins
7-39 (249): Jonathan Grimes, RB, William & Mary - looked great in preseason for Texans, but cut and put on their practice squad

UDFA: Derek Carrier, WR, Beloit College - cut by Faiders
UDFA: Jeremiah Warren, OG, South Florida - cut by Patriots, but signed to their practice squad
UDFA: Aston Whiteside, ILB, Abilene Christian - cut by Bears, but signed to their practice squad
UDFA: Deshawn Shead, S, Portland State - cut by Seahawks, but signed to their practice squad
UDFA: Matt Johnson, S, Eastern Washington - made Cowboy's 53-man roster, inactive for season opener
UDFA: Nate Eachus, RB, Colgate - made Chiefs 53-man roster, looked like a pimp in preseason
UDFA: Ryan Davis, DE, Bethune-Cookman - cut by Jaguars, signed to their practice squad
UDFA: Sean Baker, S, Ball State -- cut by Bucs
UDFA: Jake Soy, WR, Northwest Missouri State -- not signed by any team
UDFA: Cody Pearcy, WR, Huntingdon College -- cut by Falcons
UDFA: Nic Cooper, RB, Winston-Salem -- cut by Packers
UDFA: Lyndon Rowells, RB, Humboldt State -- cut by Jaguars
UDFA: Chris Mayes, DE, Wesley College -- not signed by any team
UDFA: Michael Zweifel, WR, Dubuqe -- cut by Packers

Overall:

9 players made 53-man roster
2 players on IR
6 players signed to practice squad

Not too shabby, certainly better than Josh McDaniels ever did....

The Patriots final draft results:
Fletcher Cox DT Miss St - backup Eagles
Dont'a Hightower ILB Alabama - Starting SLB Patriots
Mohammed Sanu WR Rutgers - 6/7th WR Bengals
Chase Minnifield CB Virginia - would have made the Redskins if not for ACL injury Brandon Taylor S LSU - Backup SS Chargers
Jake Bequette DE Arkansas - backup DE Patriots

Picked 2 players who were drafted by the Pats, but overall not an instant impactful draft. Minnifield did not even get drafted, but made a serious run for the Redskins, he may be on IR somewhere

Everyone's (except Jebures) draft is looking that way. Outside of Luck/RGIII this draft looks like it was overhyped.

That is true, but like I quoted Ludo, its not an overly instant impactful draft and most draft picks are buried in the depth chart.

fun thread, shows how good or awful of gms we are. I drafted for the Packers:

1. Devon Still, backup UT for Bengals
2. Ronnell Lewis, 3rd string de for Lions
4. Shaun Prater, IR corner for Bengals
4. Ryan Lindley, 3rd string QB for Cardinals
4. Trent Robinson, 2nd string Safety 49ers
6. Tauren Poole, IR RB Panthers
7. Shawn Loiseau, cut by Texans
7. Jaymes Brooks, cut by Packers
7. Dominique Hamilton, cut by Raiders

Lindley might end up starting by the end of the year by how terrible the Cardinals QB's are and Devon Still might be good eventually, but all in all, not that good of a draft at first glance.

I'll have to pull up the 2011 draft and see how I did. I know I took Torrey Smith in the late second and he's the WR1 for the Ravens now.
