Default Anyone gearing up for their kid's youth or HS football opener?

My son is playing Pop Warner Pee Wee (120 lbs) but is only 9 years old. He's kicking ass even though he is the youngest on the team, and one of the only 9 year olds in the entire league.

I cant wait for Sunday.

I have a 9 year old girl, she plays soccer and scored the 1st goal of the season.

It is fun watching kids (at least your kids) play.

Good luck and wishing your boy a great year.

My son's been playing 5 years now. He had to play 75's when he was 5 because he was so big. I love youth football. It's a great sport.

He wants to try and stay on the 120s next year though, because he is tired of always being the youngest kid on the team.

Your son is fat! I hope you keep an eye on that because a kid that young should not be that big. I will look at the picture but I am at the opposite end of a 9 year old around 70 pounds. Boney guy but he plays pitcher in baseball and soccer. He would play with the 5 year olds in football!

He is taller than I was when I started high school! I got my permit at 5 foot 3 inches. I finally grew and hit 6 foot but yeah, your son is going to huge. Does he play baseball? I bet he could probably throw hard with that size. Of course accuracy is a big part of pitching too but kid might be a talent. I hope he becomes a football player, gets a scholarship to SC and then gets drafted by the Broncos. That would really make your day.

He hates baseball... he can hit the hell out of it but his throwing is awful.

My father was a minor league pitcher so it must not be hereditary.

His main sports are football basketball and swimming, he plays baseball just to shut me up
