Default Tampa Bay Times, Denver Post and Salt Lake Tribune (it's in Utah, people) Endorsing Obama

Tampa Bay Times

http://www.tampabay.com/opinion/edit...sident/1257328

Quote:
We wish the economic recovery was more vigorous, and we would like the president to present a sharper vision for a second term. But Obama has capably steered the nation through an incredibly difficult period at home and abroad, often with little help from Congress. The next four years will not be easy for whoever occupies the Oval Office, but Obama has been tested by harsh circumstance and proven himself worthy of a second term.

For president of the United States, the Tampa Bay Times recommends Barack Obama.
Denver Post

http://www.denverpost.com/opinion/ci...bama-president

Quote:
This is an election that begs the candidates to demonstrate what they plan to do moving forward. Neither has done enough to lead us to think voters on Nov. 6 aren't, to a certain degree, being asked to make a leap of faith. But Obama's record of accomplishment under trying circumstances and his blueprint for a second term make him the best pick to move the nation forward.
Salt Lake Tribune

http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/opinion...ident.html.csp

Quote:
In considering which candidate to endorse, The Salt Lake Tribune editorial board had hoped that Romney would exhibit the same talents for organization, pragmatic problem solving and inspired leadership that he displayed here more than a decade ago. Instead, we have watched him morph into a friend of the far right, then tack toward the center with breathtaking aplomb. Through a pair of presidential debates, Romney’s domestic agenda remains bereft of detail and worthy of mistrust.

Therefore, our endorsement must go to the incumbent, a competent leader who, against tough odds, has guided the country through catastrophe and set a course that, while rocky, is pointing toward a brighter day. The president has earned a second term. Romney, in whatever guise, does not deserve a first.

Wow liberal papers in the can for O'Dogg. I am duly impressed and ****. Tampa Bay Times was formerly St. Petersburg Times and that paper has always been establishment liberal regardless of what it is called. Same with the Denver comPost.

Spike the ball anyway, if you like.

Meanwhile Lee Iacocca, a lifetime democrat is endorsing Romney. Odds are he is a dying breed of a conservative democrat. And now that he supports Romney, he will be labeled one of those evil rich guys where as before, he wasn't half bad.

Yeah and so do Lindsay Lohan, Ted Nugent, and of course Jenna Jameson who states her reason being "when you're rich you want a Republican in office". Pretty much sums it up.

Or "when you're not rich but you're absolutely certain you can get rich by helping the rich screw you."

That's the Bubba vote in a nutshell.

Only liberals get their political advice from Hollywood. Most of the wealthy in Hollywood vote democrat all the time and don't know why other than it's the cool thing to do. Pretty much sums it up.

Newspapers thinking that their endorsement means anything is the height of conceit.

Just like Romney voters don't care what Mittens' actual positions or plans really are.

All that matters is that Willard is white and has an 'R' after his name.
