Gaffney > Willis, Caldwell, Hill, Stokley.

After yesterday's display, I think it's safe to say if Gaff gets even relatively healthy, he's easily the 3rd best receiver on the team.

Seems like exactly the type of WR that would excel with Manning. Crisp route runner and find holes in the zone. I know he is getting a little long in the teeth, Hell yeah bring him on in for a look.

Only thing is, I wonder how long it would take him and Manning to get on the same page.

NO, Stokely will get all his catches. We don't need him.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if either KFC or Oakland gets desperate and signs him.

Both teams could use a guy who can catch.

Bring him in
Tell him the opponents CBs had sex with his wife

But seriously unless he has just aged that much in the past two years he would be good depth

I want this

I remember everyone exclaiming how deep we were at WR when we let him and Lloyd go, then within weeks we were playing Tebow at WR. He is a great addition, unbiasedly would probably be our 3rd best receiver regardless of how bad we are hoping caldwell and stokley come around and look amazing.

I'm cool with it. I think he would definitely help the team. Have him return punts too, it couldn't be any worse then what we see now.

Sign him, I heard he was a number #1 receiver in this league.

Shanahan and Belichick have now passed on Gaffney. That may say a little something about him.

You might be right, but if somehow, someway we could get Gaff and MJD, this offense could be epic.

still better than bubba and willis. This team needs a real #3 and I dont think it impacts Stokely that much

The top three are DT, Decker, and Stokley. Outside of injury Manning will only use those three guys.

Forget about adding any other WR's this late in the offseason, it's not Manning's way.

I would tend to agree. I just wonder if there's more to the story with this guy. He had a very good year with the Skins and then they had no interest in bringing him back. And then NE has nothing special at the position and he gets cut in the first wave. Just seems odd.

Ummmm, Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd? And Gronk and Hernandez, who are essentially WRs in TE bodies?
