Gotta say I am proud to have been a part of that. The PM he sent me thanking me was worth every penny. He was a rival fan but we all came together because we are part of the same race, the human race. We are all stuck on this rock together and people need to realize that helping others helps yourself.

RIP Crazy I really hope it's true and there is an afterlife that is full of happiness. If so then see you on the other side. If not then it was a pleasure talking football with you in the time you had.

One of the best Chiefs fans I knew. The guy was a great poster. He will be dearly missed.

RIP Crazyhorse.

I always told my kids to sprinkle those ashes on the broncos field so they can come see me each weekend...hopefully his family gets a copy of this thread..and they do see his positive reach that transended a fanbase....much better person than I.

I didn't like him. He was pigheaded and enjoyed being an ass.

That being said he was a fixture in this community and a rallying point for good for many of the members. Its tough to lose one of our own, even if he didn't embrace the Orange way. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I know they suffered with him through his health battles.

I hope in heaven he gets to drive the perfect mustang under deep blue skies and down an open highway. Of course, if its orange and the radio only plays Dave Logan play by play, theres no harm in that either.

I met Dan MANY years ago, at a Broncos-Chiefs game, in Kansas City. It was probably the same game that I met Meck77 and Disco Man (and OF1). I want to say that was 2004. I knew he was a good guy who liked to rile up the Broncos fanbase, just because he could. This is very sad news. I'll miss him...

OABB, the reigning Internet Champion, asked me to post this for crazyhorse from him:

"you were one hell of a tough son of a b****, and although i found myself at times wanting to punch you, your character always shone through. I will miss your posts, and mostly, I will miss knowing that the world has lost a man like you. oh, and **** the Chiefs! "

This and building the bike for Falconers son are two of the best moments on this board. At least for me.

It's pretty cool to see how many people knew and conversed with crazy.

Very sad moment once again. Mock was my friend at this place, crazyhorse, not so much. That doesn't mean anything now, he had a sharp mind and his repartee was maddeningly logical. His absence will leave a visible space in the football commentary here, and I will miss him.

RIP Dan. He stopped by a tailgate in KC many years ago. Was on the bus briefly. Very nice guy in person. I've said it a thousand times but there are very real people behind these screens. It's that human connection that is sorely missed when one does not venture beyond these forum walls in my opinion. Think about Dan, Mock and others that have passed that we may not even know about. They are simply names that may no longer appear.

Be kind to one another.......

Crazy your chiefs still suck!
