Great college player. Not sure how his size would translate to the NFL.

As long as he finds a place to play this year, i'm sure there are a lot of teams that would be happy to roll the dice on that kind of talent. Even as a pure PR/KR, that kid has the quicks.

I look at a player I watched fall from grace (Demaris Johnson formerly from Tulsa University). The dude had alreay beat the NCAA all time all purpose yards record as a junior. He was still going to play last year (senior year) and ended up swiping a credit card and using it at a local department store and got busted. He got kicked off the team, fell completely out of the draft and finally the Eagles gave him a shot. Scored a 70 yard TD last night. He may be a douche, but he can still play.

Tyrann Mathieu would be smart to pull a Janoris Jenkins and transfer to an FCS school like North Alabama, so he is eligible to play this year.

Do that, stay out of trouble, say the right things, stay healthy, kick some ass against lesser competition, and then declare for the 2013 NFL Draft.

the NFL should create a prison franchise. all players who have a major misdemeanor or felony could play for them. Sorta like the longest yard deal.

bet they would seriously kick ass and be in contention. think of the players:
QB: VICK
RB: Travis Henry
MLB: Ray Lewis

others?

The interesting thing to me is that Matthieu actually isn't a really great NFL prospect. No way is he a 1st rounder.
Due to his playmaking ability in college he showed, probably earliest is a 2nd rounder.

Leonard Little and Donté Stallworth both killed people because they chose to operate a car while impaired and then continued to play in the NFL so sign them up

I knew he was going to get in trouble when he chose not to play division II football and instead stay at LSU where all his friends and all his problems were. It was only a matter of time.
