Default It's that time of year again...

The rival fans come in, talk their ****, and give their predictions.

And honestly, what fun would it be if we didn't? Who doesn't love to win that office FFL or preseason SB bet?

To the quick - I give KC a 50/50 shot at the Den/KC game in KC. Big emotions, gains on D, losses on the O line (again.) If my life depended on it I'd only bet KC if they were a -6 and they won't be because it's too early in the year.

I think it's a very odd game like 17-15 Donks or something low scoring like that. I could see us getting a safety but not having the O to finish the deal.

For the 2nd game I think it's a 1 point affair. And I'm sure you're saying "Rausch, this makes no sense. KC plays like poo at Denver."

Yes, I hear that, but I think KC is a team a year away. We have the secondary talent and the pass rush but not enough experience to put it all together this year. Late in the year Smith and Poe should be back and I think an easy win on the schedule becomes a very hard fought W. I wouldn't be shocked if this game ended with Alex being on the KC 45 and us $#itt!ng our pants 3 plays in a row to end it.

That said I still think it ends up this way:

1)Den (2) Seed
2)KC (8) Seed
3)SD - not even SD cares. They'll fight over the best waves or position in comic-con.
4)The Raiders are still a team.

8th seed in a 6 seed playoff format. Yup sounds about right

Actually I agree with you. I think that KC has improved the right way, on defense, a defense that causes concern. It'll depend on whether your offense manages the game and limits turnovers. And yes KC should finish 2nd, but 6th seed. Unless they expanded the playoffs and I was asleep.

It seems since 2000 every playoff year for KC is an odd assembly of NFL algebra to determine if we make the playoffs or not...

Denver will be lucky to win 10 and I think KC ends with 10 or 11.

Vegas says Denver wins 10 and KC wins 8.5

When was the last time Peyton didn't win at least 10 games? Say what you want about his post season difficulties, you can practically spot his team 10 wins every season.

1) We'll take the division as long as Manning stays relatively healthy. 11-12 wins.
2) Manning, again, will, again, go, again, 2-0, again, against, again, the Chiefs. He always beats up on lesser division rivals.
3) Our defense is going to eat Alex Smith up.
4) KC will be in the hunt for a WC spot, because Reid is a decent coach, and they have a lot of talent on D.

You should put the whole farm on KC. You could even bump it up to 9.5 and get a better payout.

you're nuts. DEN easily wins 11 this season, maybe more.

2 vs OAK
2 vs KC
1 vs SD
1 vs DET
1 vs MIN
1 vs CLE
1 vs CHI
at least 1 vs these: BAL, PIT, GB, NE, or IND
1 vs CIN
