The NFL announced today that they have cleared Travis Henry to return to the NFL. He will be 34 in October. What a joke this clown was at the end in Denver. Who would even consider him?

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison in 2009 after pleading guilty to running a coke ring. Just released a couple of months ago.

They have to say that. None of the locals are buying it here. I wouldn't either.

Then again, they do have McD back, so running the ball will be an afterthought anyway. Who needs RBs when all they do is catches away from their 10 probowl TEs, Welker, Lloyd, Gaffney and Branch.

Maybe this is a step needed to be able to get his benefits(medical/retirement) started. Maybe he wants to officially retire from the NFL and this is the first step in the process. I really don't think any team would think about signing him.
