This kinda ruined my day. (I didn't check the numbers, but seems like the guy's probably right.)

I eventually got through the blog, but not without some pain. This guy took way too long, to get to the point...

I'll sum it up. Basically he's whining that Marino has more comebacks than Elway because each team logs a come back stat differently and had they used the same criteria, Elway would not be number one.

In other news, who gives a crap?

Elway would respond, but his two SB rings are blinding him and he can't read the blog.

This is like saying Gene Lunney is a better Flight controller than Gene Kranz because Kranz's team was taken off line during Apollo13 and had to solve the mission and Lunney's team took more reps.

In the end it was Gene's team that came up with the plan to return the crippled craft to home and to solve the CO2 issue.

I like Lunny, he is a stud but he doesn't have a flat top or Kranz's attention to detail.

That's exactly what I thought.

I read a prior article of this dude a year or two ago. It just sounds like a lot of whining with his own brand of wrangling stats. I can't believe this is what he is spending his life doing. He must really hate Elway.

Thats part of this dudes issue is that the NFL doesn't actually keep a "comeback" record. Then he also argues what does and does not count as a comeback.
